- The Earl and Countess of Wessex are visiting Belfast on a tour of Northern Ireland to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The royal couple joined members of the public at a 1950s-themed celebration on the city's Royal Avenue.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex are a classy and elegant couple! They know how to interact with people and perform their royal duties well. I must say, they are great assets to the British Royal Family. Her Majesty the Queen is always proud of them. 🙂

I am so glad Prince Edward found somone like Sophie she seems a lovely person. They always come a cross as really being interested in the people they meet. They have lovely children and are a credit to the Royal Family unlike the we are "special twosome" who wanted to stay Royal but not do anything to earn that privilege.

It's just now with Her Majesty stepping back from Royal duties due to age, Prince Andrew no longer a working Royal and Harry stepping away and the loss of another potential Royal "employee" in Megan, the Duke and Countess of Wessex have stepped forward in an even more prominent manner, to "take up the slack", as it were. I wouldn't be surprised to see their daughter, Lady Louise take on a more prominent role as a working Royal in the not too distant future.
