There’s nothing simpler, sexier, more timeless and versatile to me than how Emily looks right now - the super dark straight hair, fair skin tone with that rich berry lip color.... There’s just something about this particular look that I’ve always loved. Emily you look so pretty. 😊

Love how down to earth this channel has stayed throughout the years. So many beauty channels have become so overproduced and only use expensive high end products and no longer feel relatable to everyday makeup lovers. Emily just feels like a friend!!

SO, after I first heard you talk about using LESS black liner, I went and bought like 3 matte colors and like 3 glitter colors of eyeliner to do the same thing. I don't have time for eyeshadow in the morning anymore, but I'm pretty quick with a wing so I was like OMG WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS THANK YOU EMILY

Rachael Pracht On really hot days I wear waterproof navy blue liner on my lids and waterline with Waterproof mascara. It looks great and is easy to apply.
emilynoel83 Emily, you should also try a teal, blue or green in the waterline. It's hard to find ones that stay and don't irritate, but the gel Liners by Gosh Cosmetics, NYC and Marc Jacobs work well for me.

Yes! I did the same. I bought some essence cosmetics long wear liners. I will sometimes apply them, smudge them, and they seriously look great all day... especially in the waterline. I do not have disposable income for the Marc jacobs liners, and these essence retractables are doing so well, I don’t even want to splurge on the Marc ones.

The Blotterazzi has so many uses. I like to wet it, it expands like a regular Beauty Blender does, and use it to pack on loose powder for baking, applying liquid highlighter, when wet it also works well for getting smudges off without destroying my foundation. You can also use it to put on foundation or to blend out concealer. Plus you get 2 of them for less than $20. So I’ve been a fan of the Blotterazzi for a while now.

You remain informative, professional, to the point, and knowledgable, all while being fun, friendly, hilarious, and warm. I love that you've not lost sight of what looks good on you in favor of doing the latest thing (tin-man levels of highlight for example) or 'if it's expensive it must be good' mentality. Honestly, I love air puffs. Morgan from TheBeautyBreakdown has a whole video on how to use them for a multitude of functions, and I feel like a lot of western beauty bloggers/influencers tend to write them off. While I'm not sure how l'Oreal or Wet n Wild air puffs compare, I actually love Pony Effect, Missha, and Innisfree puffs. They're soft and don't absorb product, and I reach for them over my Beauty Blender more often than not, even for normal foundation. I haven't tried the Real Techniques cushion sponge, but maybe I'll try it out to see how it compares, though the handle looks a bit cumbersome.

Emily, you definitely need to try the Sephora airbrush foundation! It's amazing! Only downside is it goes way to fast😐but it is insanely quick when you need to just get out the door and look flawless!

Thrift Thick swears by the blotterotzi (sp? haha) for blotting sweat in the summer! She says it doesn't mess up her makeup underneath. So funny to hear all the various uses for a product that, at first glance, could seem unnecessary!

This was so fun to watch, thank you! I don't have a gimmicky product to share but along the line of butter products, I thought you might enjoy this. YOU are the reason I tried the Butter Blushes from Physician's Formula. And the funny thing is you didn't like them at all! But when you were trying them, you were showing the application on camera. As you began to apply the product I thought, "wow, that is gorgeous on her" and then my jaw dropped when you commented that you didn't like it, not enough pigment, etc. I finally decided to try them and I wasn't disappointed! They are creamy, buildable, smooth and of course smell wonderful. I think you like more punch in blush but I thought you might get a kick out of how you managed to recommend a product you didn't like! I have quite a few "Emily made me buy it" products!
I could really use a refresher on my under eyes some days! They start looking so wrinkled just because the skin there gets dry so that's a great tip!
Don't know if you've ever mentioned it in past vids. But I really love the Clinique BB cushion foundation and I have never heard any youtubers mention it. It has a beautiful finish and spf50. It came out before most of these others. May be one of the first actually, here in the US anyway. I could be wrong on that but it's amazing.

I work at Sephora and the spray blushes are AMAZING. I love to apply them directly to the face, and often they don’t even need blending

the color switch by vera mona at sephora is one of my all time favorite tools/accessories. it's basically a hair donut (plastic-y mesh material) in a tin and with a few swirls takes off all the color of your eyeshadow brush and allows you to use the same brush immediately after with another color instead of constantly changing brushes. i love it and ulta does something similar as well now and it's half the price of the sephora one. it's genius.
Walking on Egg Shells from Wet N' Wild is my favorite trio. I didn't they redid it! Gonna have to pick it up asap!!

Yes!!! Emily posted!!! I can stop mopping my floors and hang out on the couch :) I am trying for less black liquid liner too. I am really enjoying the colours of liquid and gel pencil liner from the Ulta house brand. Only thing is I remembered how much I hate sharpening pencils.
I have the Blotteratzi and love it. I'll have to try the face mist trick with it. The It Cosmetics eye brush would be great for travel.

So glad you're trying different lines, maybe you could teach us. I have so many different color liners, but unless they're dark I never know how to make a look.
The PF highlighter appears to be a dupe for the Stila highlighter (same modality & shade) ... good to know 😊 Is the PF sparkly? I didn't purchase the Stila one due to high amount of glitter. Not suitable for my 58 yr old skin 😉😄💜💚💖

I love the blotterazzi thing! I have dry skin, but I get creasing around my eyes, mouth, and chin from fine lines. It also came in handy one day for a friend I was with! She was able to reblend around her nose.
