I think the conundrum over the Chanel vanity case is so relatable, Harry. I’ve splashed out for an item that I thought I’d love - and objectively do - but it just doesn’t function the way I really want it to. A really thoughtful video. Loved it!
I recently had this experience too! Thankfully didn't splurge and got it thrifted for like 60-70 bucks.
Got a Tsuchiya Kaban Randoseru backpack within 5 days of even discovering one, just fell in love with it, pored over it for 5 days, and bought a secondhand from eBay since a new one costs upwards of $500 and I wanted to check if I liked it first before spending that much.
Well, I do love it, it's very chic and a joy to have and hold (lol), but I've realized it's impractical as a travel backpack or even for the office. It works well for a specific use case (almost like a no-theft travel bag, very comfortable for the shoulders, and works well for long walks), but it has no external pockets for quick access, no easy top handle to carry it that way, no compartments in the main space, it's not easy to open (though I love the trunk like mechanism), and has its own heft that adds to overall weight. Still love it, but beyond its narrow use, it's not functional, but no regrets!
What a joy to watch a video like this. I dream about these Chanel Slingbacks... If I really like something, I also buy it in several colors. And going further, if I like a certain pattern, I buy e.g. a shirt, a dress, a blouse... xx
Givenchy did it first. 😂Their Pandora bag was such a geometrical accomplishment. All 4 sizes offered the most spacious and practical, one-handle crossbody bags with a top zipper and 1 or 2 more front zippers for organization. The Loewe Puzzle reminds me so much of the Pandora, and I would politely give them back that top flap since I feel it makes the access harder than it has to be.

I recently bought the Steve Madden version of the Chanel shoes in both colours and i cannot recommend of them enough! Great quality leather, beautifuly made and for the fraction of the price.

my vintage box leather kelly is also my absolute favorite luxury purchase. she's from the 70s and in the rouge H colour, 32 size and retourne like yours. i don't have many luxury items in general haha that was my splurge. i found it at a consignment shop and couldn't say no

I agree. I have the baby pink Chanel Vanity and for travel it has to be carried as it won’t do well in a suitcase and I end up babying it more than I should. But i am obsessed with it and the color

I also love the “granny vibe” lol, or at least that is how some see it. I think it’s more timeless and classic. Nice collection! I agree with the H belt. If my name started with H I’d get too or any other like V, CD etc, but otherwise I’m not into wearing them.

My best tip for clothes is find the style of thing you like and buy it in multiple colours. I even buy the same jean in the same colour, multiple times. If it works, it works. 😂 In the summer i live in the same top in black or white which i got in multiples of 4, and then a few in colour. All in the same design. 😂😂
I dont agree. Usually you have your favorite color and you wont wear the others. You will just get bored easily. Less things, but be divers. Stay within your taste, but try variations.
@@Luftballon1970 depends on what your colours are. I wouldnt do that with makeup, but with everyday clothes that are within my style, it does. In the summer when i actually have a broader palette, i use this a lot, but as i said its mostly b&w for me which is why i get multiples of those. 🤷🏼 Limits decision fatique in the morning. People can try it and see for themselves if something works for them or not!
I'm with you. I've bought the same style/design pants in 4 different colours. The 4 colours are my main go-tos. So I definitely wear all 4 pants, all the time.

I still love my LV reverse monogram#nkuwan clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
