I doubt she was anyone’s favorite from the comic, but it’s cool that the show continues to expand on characters, most of them women, who were relatively underwritten in the source material. Obviously Debbie has gotten the biggest improvement though, such a great plotline in season 1.

They have done it before, predicted almost to the T some other developments in other shows and I feel they have been doing it with increased regularity. One of the reasons this is one of my favorite reaction channel/group.
I think Kate in this version is great. Her issue with Rex is that he lied to her when he told her that Eve and Mark were a thing. He made it seem like they'd broken up and Eve was with a new person. That's why she felt fine sleeping with him that time and why she says "that's what you think happened?" when he accuses her of cheating. So in her mind, she was manipulated into being involved in that Rex and Eve drama. She never considered her and Rex a relationship, just a hookup and therefore doesn't consider herself a cheater. Rex just makes assumptions, as he always does. Then Rex keeps sulking about her actual relationship, so she's forced to explain why she has chosen to be with the immortal but wouldn't want a real relationship with Rex. He makes his own mess, then complains about it, then gets upset when she finally tells him off.

I know I’ve spent way too much time lately explaining the facts of life to weirdos who don’t understand basic relationship concepts like communication and boundary setting and have just the fucking worst takes about the women on this show. I’ve got a lot of attachment to the character of Mark, I almost feel like I grew up with him because I picked the comics up when I was sixteen and there on the page he was maturing into a young man too, reflecting my struggles with relationships, a newly absent father, and personal trauma. Like, I’m an Invincible fan, I feel strongly about the series and the humanistic principles at its foundation. All that to say when I see someone being just totally shitty about a character, not extending empathy or understanding, it actually pisses me off, and I feel compelled to correct them. Which is stupid, because this is the internet, and I’m probably trying to explain Amber’s emotional perspective, the concept of a right to boundaries, and personal relationship standards to a thirteen year old redditor who hasn’t touched grass since they were in diapers. 😞
Haven't read the comics but currently that whole situation just reminds me of anime where the protagonist is a male boy/man/old man and the love interest is a loli/kid that is thousands of years old but appears young until they explain and develop it more it's just going to come across as odd to some people especially when immortal is thousands of years old and has likely banged plenty of women and kate is literally from "teen team" Also are we just going to ignore her being a hypocrite? She tells Rex not to be inappropriate in the workplace when she banged both him and immortal in the same spot😂, I'll let the story speak for itself

I was enjoying getting to follow Allen along for a while learning more about his origin story. I was not expecting it to come to an end the way it did😭
I don't know and have not read the comics, but I am betting Theadus is a Viltrumite. The clues are in his choice of words. He calls the hold the Viltrumites hold "steady" and uses the word "exploit" in reference to the possible weakness of the Vultrumites. We saw similar clues with Omnimans language in season 1 ep 1, with "less developed" in reference to other cultures they would "help."
Of course Kate isn't angry Rex couldn't experience deaths as she and Immortal do and therefore understand her more intimately and help her in sharing the pain and trauma of it all. Kate is angry Rex is behaving the way he is when he really has no right to be upset with the situation. He tricked her into believing he and Eve were through, because Eve was supposedly with Invincible, making her, in a way, accessory in the cheating. And he caused her to lose a friend. Then he claims she is cheating on him when they never really had a relationship. She's mad about all that, he's immaturity, lack of accountability, empathy or even self awareness. She's probably also upset she is the one making the effort to mend or clarify things, and most of all that she needs to explain to him, someone that has been a friend for a while and even thought/assumed they were in a relationship, that her dying constantly as part of her powers affects her and is nuclear to herself and key to understanding and knowing her. And I assume that's the crux of the conversation, above all it explains to us the audience, through Rex, why Kate and Immortal make sense, why they would gravitate towards each other and find kinship.

when his aline revealed himself I immediately knew that omni man sent him to earth to bring Mark to him so that omni man could hand Mark his little brother to him so that he could take him to safety before the viltrumites finds omni man. and now in the next episode omni man and Mark will have a small fight "I THINK" then they both will team up against the viltrumites who are on the seek to find omni man.
