Iracing is as mediocre as other sims. It's just way more expensive.

@@amigoz3201 proper HDR makes a mediocre looking ACC shine like a diamond. It's crazy, what benefits it has - just by increasing the contrast ratio. Of course with a monitor that can handle good hdr.
@@amigoz3201 You sound very ignorant. HDR when activated on a monitor like an OLED that can actually make use of it looks incredible. You can't switch on HDR on a shitty HDR400 panel, and act like you have experience of what HDR is and isn't. There's a lot of tech channels on this very website that explain HDR in depth.
The reflections look great, and the lighting looks very natural. I'm hoping there's ray tracing involved here, especially with global illumination to get that full immersion when racing at night.

@@epticsstuff3612 yes you're right. There is NO perfect sim on the market - and there won't be a perfect one in the future.
Iracing is as mediocre as other sims, too. Good in same things, and absolutely bad on others - but with an hilarious price for the content and an even more hilarious additional monthly fee.
@@epticsstuff3612dumb take rf2 already has the best tyre model in any sim and this game builds on top of that. Absolute best? Of course not. Best in the market at the time of release? Very likely

i think the visuals are very solid for a simracing game, i like what i see and hear.
one thing though: might it be possible to add some actual gras on that flat texture? it would go a long way to make the tracks feel a bit more real.

Waiting for it - I hope there will be some physics improvments too (in RF2, cars flying after an accident, rear too "light" and, when slipping, then spining around a center axis etc).
RF2 has a good physic but can be improved.

@@aledmb only until LMU releases then they will probably get back to RF2 and work on the 2024 season for LMU
@@aledmb I wouldn't really say rF2 development is stopped. There hasn't been focus on content this year but they have released some improvements to the sim itself, including the new online system. Once LMU is out the door I'm sure rF2 will get some love

It looks and sounds great! My only little problem is the lack of speed feeling.
That you get with motion blur
Lack of speed comes with the right FOV. I felt the same after switching to the right one. But once you realise, that 200km per hour in a real car feel slower than a wrong FOV in a sim, you realize that it's the most realistic and immersive way to play a simulator.

@@jeremytalbot9255 Not in ACC. You get a dlc for 20 bucks 3 tracks and 2-3 cars.
What are you talking about? For 7 Euros on sale you get a lot of cars and tracks within the base content. 8 euros per track and 6 euros per car is normal pricing for that quality content. And of course: it's without an additional monthly fee.
And of you buy the packs on sale, you pay way less than that.
I've been craving a WEC game for years, so I'm willing to support this one if the monetization is reasonable...

What's up with the tyres looking static when they show the view over the rear wheel arch? You can clearly see the tyre in the cutout but it's not moving. This game is scheduled to be released in about two months and this is the state it's in? I'm definitely going to be waiting for some in-depth reviews before I make a decision to get this one or if I should just stick to rf2 mods...
Edit: My wrong, I thought the wheel arch was open there but as someone else pointed out it's part of the wheel arch
I don't think that is the tyres you're looking at, it's the black part of the carbon fibre wheel arch.

It will use Race Control ranked multiplayer which was just added in rFactor 2 and is fantastic.
Please bring this to console. I've been waiting for a game like this forever. Between this, ACC and F1, I'd be so happy.

Sim, it uses rFactor 2's engine but with proper menus/UI and also proper online integration.
Can't wait to see all cars in action (the full grid) and also the GTE's...or are we going to see/get the new LM GT's as well? Because that will be the selling point for me. (aside from basically this being "rFactor 2 Remastered" with the same physics and all)
PS: Also hopefully one day in my life I'm going to see a developer with the balls to include Super GT500/GT300 in their game for once. I'll paid for a full set of japanese tracks and all cars for the Super GT series without even hesitate. Just make it happen...

Guys, please be patient, we don't want another flop. Remember that studio 357 was bought by motorsport games, and MG already suspended work on an indycar game and laid off lots of people. Don't get on the hype train. Wait for release, check the reviews, but it then.

good, I want to play it, honestly in assetto corsa with csp and sol and others, you can have the same graphics or even better
Here you can have proper endurance racing experience, unlike AC mods all cars in this game made with real data, and all tracks are laser scanned. Safety car, weather conditions will play a big role in races where you can climb from last to first just with right strategy. AC is good, but LMU is on another level for endurance racing.

It's based on RF2 engine so the physics will be on another level.

Some of the footage is on a wet track, and some is with a very zoomed in lens. You can be assured that the pace of the car will be super accurate being rf2.
We need more than graphics, more realistic crash physics, access to the beta for the community to participate...it seems to me like just more of the same.

Also for the 499P to hit the scenes for it's outright addition for Gran Turismo 7 and Forza Motorsport (2023).

@@dylanhorton8 Putting it this way sole cars of a category comes a portion but come to a stale outcome hence why an addictional competitor car pays the dividends and the 499P can make do for both Joining both GR010 HYBRID '21 of GT7 and V-Series R regarding Forza Motorsport respectively. The two titles come more than just any sim.
