I’ve basically been doing my own system which is something similar in Moleskines since 2014. I use about 3-4 books per year. The problem is that I also had to have a regular planner for future planning. I’ve got so many dang books and planners now that I’m changing it all up for 2021. Am just going to have one planner and a series of spiral bound notebooks that I can shred at the end each month (once I’ve transferred important data to the planner). My journal is on my computer and I stopped printing those in 2019. Thank God! I’ never realized how overwhelming it is to have all these books piling up.

I’ve been doing the method for about 3 years or so and I will say this- eventually you will be able to script your whole day. It takes time and practice and it doesn’t come easily at the beginning. I just kept watching her videos over and over and over and I eventually got it. Now I script it all and occasionally make a list, but you will get it!

I’ve used this planning system since November 2019. The books are amazing quality and it’s truly a great system. I will say though the daily scripting and journaling takes up a lot of time (at least for me). So for July I’m just using a graph ideas notebook for my scripting on days I have the time to script and also using a jibun techno when I just need to get stuff done. It’s working great!
I have only just started in the scripting but I can understand exactly what you are saying:) Thanks for sharing how you make it work for you. I can see myself doing some combination on busy days:)

I just received my planner perfect order, I ordered the three blank kraft paper journal inserts...old habits die hard I guess (my midori/travelers company inserts have the kraft paper covers ;) ), and I just could not decide what cover to go with, they are all so beautiful

I began doing something very similar back in Feb and love it! I’ve also used it every single day since! That’s probably a record for me! HA! I’ve been using a tomoe river paper notebook from Paper Penguin Co and love that! So far my current Standard (called Narrow in my Chic Sparrow TN which I love!) started April 1 and I just got to the center of the spine starting in July! So it should last me about 6 months in one book!

I’ll have to check out her new IG series. I started watching her you tube videos but had a hard time really figuring out what to do. I liked how she described it helping her be happy about getting up and how a to do list wasn’t motivating but this system was. I’d love more bonus videos! 💕
Okay, gotcha ya Sarah:) I will say I had to watch numerous videos before I fully understood her method. And I feel like it has to be tweaked to work with each of our individual planning styles and lives.

Would love to see some bonus videos and updates on P.P. I started with Jenny back when she only had about 50 subscribers on her channel, before her shop! I love it but because I love planners in general, lol, I switch around but always come back to Planner Perfect! I’m using her method in a Paper Penguin Co 180 page Tomoe River insert now. Since you use several different planners in a year how to you store them and know where something is if you need to look back at something?? That’s always a problem for me. tfs

"Man makes his plans, but God directs hs steps" thats how I try to live. I do ask God to intervene in my day and help me through situations. so I might make a goal list, but i'm not a fortune teller of my life. Having said that, I have 15 of her inserts and 1 leather cover. I love them! I'm not artsy, and could never draw or create such fabulus covers. I use my inserts for bible scriptures, praying God's word over my kids, and end of the day reflections. I get them either blank or lined inside.

Could you please tell me what you do with events that you know of months in advance...there is nowhere to put them as the requisite book hasn’t arrived yet. I think Jenny uses a seperate 12 month calendar for this in her errand runner system, but then calendars are going to start getting duplicated and then possibly events missed. What are your thoughts on this?
I am staying with my 12 month Ashley Shelly little notebook calendar that stays propped up on my desk at all times. All my main events get entered in there, and appointments go in my ical also in my phone. They are duplicated as I write them in this monthly...but right now I like that;)
I like the chatty video -- please keep doing it. I'm planning to check out her method. I think I would use it with my EC coiled notebook because I like having more space. Travelers Notebooks are fun -- I have a few Chic Sparrows.

Can you try out the subscription and if you don’t like it easily cancel it? Or is it hard to cancel?
Easy to cancel on their site in your account. They have outlined in a chart all the charge dates for each months box...so you would have to make sure you cancel before those dates...or the next box would be charged and sent. But that is all outlined very well on the subscription page when you sign up:)
You use a monthly and a journal per month. You don’t keep a yearly in your TN, right?
I don't keep a yearly. This system has changed an morphed over the last 20 months for me:) Right now it is really just a journal & memory keeper for me. I keep you updated on how I am using it in my monthly Planner Perfect Set up vids:) Thanks for watching.

@@MsGPlans No, Wide is "Wide" or "Cahier" size. "Standard" is usually called "Standard", but also called "Narrow" by Chic Sparrow. They're very different in size.

I Love golden Coil still, but no I am not using it for my daily now that I am trying out planner perfect. I hope you love your GC. It is still one of my top favorite planners, quality and customization!
