Thanks for the shout out. I wasn't expecting that. I'm really glad to see how much you've enjoyed that yeast, and I look forward to seeing how your next brew with it goes.👍🍺
Cracking beer Rick! So makes me want to save me pennies for an all in one system to do all grain builds/brews, might use that yeast on a one tin kit and see how it performs too
Love the yeast. I started with a converted igloo and a boiler you can definitely do it cheaper for a start. Thanks for watching and commenting cheers 👍🍻
Great Vid again Rick ( Super Brew ) thanks for making the vid , I made one very close to your brew with citra to bitter but not late on in the boil I was very pleased with the yeast
" As happy as anyone that bought a pint of really nice lager" - and you made i yourself! 😃 A good feeling indeed! And how nice that you liked your KÖLSCH so much that it was finished in time... 😆
Your Citra lager looks brilliant! After brewing with Novalager myself a few times now, it's hard to see me using anything else to be fair. Well done mate! Cheers 🍻
Great video 👍🏻 and cracking looking pint of 5.9% wife beater ( are we allowed to still say that lol) Nova Lager yeast has been my go-to since it was released. Grain to glass lager in 2 weeks, bloody awesome 🍻🍻
@BrewabitRick I'm cold crashing 50l of an Aussie nova yeast lager atm. I'm definitely going to give a citra lager ago. Just finished reverse engineering a citra pale ale to a lager recipe 🤞
That's going to be a good beer. Novalager is my go-to when brewing a lager or pilsner. Amazing yeast and yes designed to not require a long lagering period. Brewed at the higher temps it adds a little fruitiness and I've always thought it may be a good yeast for a nice crisp Summer/Golden ale.
With the weather we're having in the IOM we are not ready for lager yet 😂..yes brew another for the summer, looks in great condition when it matured...cheers Rick👍
Sounds amazing. My two main yeasts are either lager or California common and I imagine this is somewhere inbetween although I dont know until I try. I mean drinking it after a week is crazy talk so I gotta give this a go. The pressure fermenters are great too, you can just leave it there until a space is ready and have a drink if you want and its all carbed up already, its incredible.
A great result, exactly as I expected !! I've been using Nova lager for just over a year and cracking results every time. I always ferment under pressure, and I juggle pressure and temperature to get the results I want using Dr Hans carbonation calculator. 🍻

I heard about Lager with hoppy and citrusy kick!
Your accent spot on! You should do lagers with fruity characters often!
I’ll definitely be doing it again it’s lovely. Thanks for watching and commenting cheers 👍🏼🍻
What a beaut, I did the citra pilsner the hop addition put out the other day hope it turns out as nice as your lager, cheers 🍻
I’m sure it will be yummmmmyyyy! You just can’t go wrong with citra in my humble opinion. Cheers for the support 👍🏼🍻

I’m really impressed and I’ll be definitely using it again soon. Thanks for watching and commenting cheers 👍🍻
I’ve got a pilsner going just now with the same yeast at 13c, it’s going like a rocket which is strange for lager yeast. Good to see happy results.
You’ll love that yeast, next time I use it is with my pilsner. Loving the beer cheers for watching and commenting 👍🍻
I think this yeast is amazing Rick, I brewed a stout with it and it was fantastic
I’m loving it and would also like to use it in different styles. Cheers for watching and commenting 👍🏼🍻
