- There is never just one way to succeed in life. It’s just the same when it comes to markets. You could be a deep value investor focused on buying super cheap stocks; or someone who doesn’t mind paying a tad more because a company is growing super fast; or someone who may just believe in trying to get market timing right, however impossible that sounds to some people. Whoever you are, the one thing that is essential to success is to do something you are comfortable doing, something that suits your temperament, and then equally important, is having the right tools to play the game you choose to play. Exactly what we will help with in my new weekly vodcast. Moneycontrol’s N Mahalakshmi will be conversing with investors who follow different styles of investing, with the common thing being their exceptional performance. Tune in to the first episode with none other than the reclusive fund manager from India’s largest mutual fund - R Srinivasan. Watch!

R Srinivasan's interview is full of integrity and wisdom. Respect to him.
One of the best fund managers in India! Yet, so very humble, candid and honest! Amazing human being 👍
There are many videos of success, but very few have courage to tell their failures,
Experience of R Srinivasan sir, tells that out of 10 stocks only two stocks may get success. This is true from Warren buffett to simple investors. Thanks money control, it was great learning....
Now here is a rare fund manager. Rare because he is so candid, no jargons and absolutely honest.
Perhaps that is why we don't see him often on Business channels
He has far more wisdom than other newbies managers like marcellus
Very nice interview. He seems to be super honest and simple. Please do more such interviews
One of the Best Managers I follow over two decades almost❤
Which are other ones
He is falling behind in the recent years. This might be because others are fast in using modern tools for analysis.
@@BharatMore2001wait for the rate cuts by mid of next year. Then you will see who he is. A superstar didn't give a hit in 1 year doesn't mean that he is done and dusted. Even today, when the market falls, SBI Small cap fund gives pretty good downside protection.
Would request the host to not interrupt frequently while the guest is still speaking. Overall, the interview was very nicely conducted.
Never seen any fund manager speaking very frank like him
First 15 mins - the anchor interrupts him too much! He's the guest, please let him talk!
The interviewer needs to stop interrupting his thought flow. He is on a diff level and the interviewer comes across with trite and banal comments.
Srinivasan came out as very candid, easy going and down to earth in this well conducted interview. Enjoyed it.
Such a good interview . And Mahalkshmi is so good in interviewing . Seems like she herself understands diff investing philosophy equally well.

Basically he is saying those people are fools 😂
Such a a humble guy ! Fabulous interview
Thanks to both of you for an amazing interview
Kindly allow the guest to complete his answer
Respected Mahalaxmi Ji

. Atul Parekh
What a wonderful speech, honestly it is significantly important to grow in stock market especially equity.
Thanks for sharing this best video
I was looking for an interview with r srini from last 1 month... And finally you guys did it! Thank you guys! Now I'll start watching
At 47:00 he is talking of Formula of sizing up and anchor interferes two times unnecessarily
God of investing and making money for people.. love your Perspective ❤
Probably the most honest person I have seen in the investing world
He is guy I would like as my friend. No status quo. Straight simple guy ❤
Srinivasan is refreshing... and good questioning by Mahalaxmi. Loved it.
Wonderful interview we need more sessions like these
Such a humble guy, fab interview
Quite funny interview, due to natural responses by RS and honesty, good stuff.
Candid one, honest Manager, no sermons
Amazing interview!😀
Mahalakshmi mam, thanks for this simple yet wonderful conversation........
Regards
Shamsheer
Excellent interview!!! 🎉
When you invite a guest, let them speak. Don't cut them in the middle of the sentence. We have come to listen to the guest not the host.
Thanks a lot for sharing this great great great video
Woooow, crazy conversation!
Exemplary Interview,Loved to listen duo
What a guy. Loved hearing.
Great and very candid interview
Throughly enjoyed the interview.
Great interview🎉
Great interview
The best part is the core ana settalite. I am also doing the same without knowing .
This man is genius
What an interview! Thought of hearing financial wisdom from very simple, down to earth, honest person. I never thought fund managers itne open minded bhi hote hai....he is so spontaneous and no dikhava...nailed it.
Brilliant one
THE BEST ONE EVER.. SUPER CLARITY
Respect to this man.
Gr8 interview
Seeing the interviewer interrupt him so many times is irritating
Agreed
Real great chat.
I invested in SBI MF twice, once I got good returns over period of 4 yrs. Next time it was only 10% return...so then I left and started on my own in 2020.
Precious person
What a guy...❤
This guy is very real
Are madam samne wale ko pehle apni line poori karne do...he is giving so much valuable information. And you put another question in between
Agreed
Best fund manager ...SBI smallcap such a multiplier
How do you motivate yourself to stay invested in SBI smallcap due to recent underperformance?
@@success-finance-mastery bro investing since 6 years ... this underperfamce ..outpewrfamce is temporary
I want to invest in SBI small cap fund please anybody suggest me is it right decision.
very down to earth and good analytics..forget interviewing jokers like motilal oswal, icici, bosses..do interview with such people
Very transparent
Clearly shows there can be only very few Vijay Kedias, Mohnish Parabais and Buffets. The retail investor who is not dealing with F&O or direct socks are much safe investing in MFs.
Didn't know he was good in Hindi !
Cameraman focus on the guest. I am not sure why anchor is in focus every few moments.
25:19 hdfc Bank valuation
I meant no offence, but I felt Mahalkshmi interrupted the guest too much. Ex., 11:30 till 12:35. Also, at 13:54. Let the guest speak, ma'am!!!!
I feel like he is not revealing most of things. Ending with "it's all luck" . Then its meaningless to study a whole lot. Just enough to survive and leave rest on luck. Ofcourse he would be having a lot of limitations about disclosures, he mentioned it during the discussion
Kirloskar went up like 10x
The theme of this intellectual discussion : Go to the market, buy cheap fresh fish, cook tasty, reduce cholestrol, by healthy with out exercise & ends “I don’t know” did not watch
Please don't interrupt after asking a question.
Mahalaxmi too much interruped the conversation. Not liked, the interview. But Srinivasan was great.
Funny at 52:00😂
Interviewer is glimg too aggressive in asking questions and counter questioning or rather interrogating. Pls let him speak n dont interrupt
56.40’
Basically he is saying those people are fools 😂
At 51:17, the guest speaker mentions the name of an “investment stalwart” (one of the Nalanda guys, he says). Can anyone please share that name clearly? I can’t catch it myself. Thanks.
Pulak Prasad
Such complicated discussion with no insight which can be used by simple retail investor
Somebody tell her that breaking the flow of the guest doesn't make her sound intelligent
Host is interrupting so many times before he completes his response
The host is too impatient..let the guest say what he has to..stop breaking in between. It's annoying
HUL will again double yaaar thats what he meant by go easy on valuations
This anchor interrupts a lot.. it's very irritating. Instead she should have asked some good questions like why sbi small cap fund is lagging behind other small caps funds in the recent times and not even beating the benchmark. Waste of an interview.
Jesus can she stop interrupting him so much
Let the guest speak woman!
M
Change host next time
Doesn't seem like a guy who is managing 1.5 lakh crore. No insights shared. What was the purpose of this discussion. Seemed more like a list of random ideas... Disappointing interview :/
She heckles a lot. 😢
Not so interesting....more of a technical talk....
The interviewer is so irritating 😢
Sir ji aap skiha rhe ho Indian ko ya angrejon ko pta nhi Hindi bolne me kya jata hai
Extremely irritating host. Keeps interrupting.
Want to listen to the guest, the host needs to be a shadow
Useless for retail investors
Retail investors have earned lot of money by investing in his fund
