Nice presentation, Ted. Thank you. Sangah Noona calls the SK6 her dream piano. She has hers perfectly mic’d for YT streams, and it sounds incredible no matter what genre she plays. Kawai really does make beautiful instruments.

Quality instrument. No less than a new Steinway B in any aspect.

What do you think about resale value?

Are we purchasing brand new pianos as a financial investment?

@@ts3011ISRL not all, but resale value is something worth considering when purchasing something like a Steinway b or kawai sk. Like all big purchases. Do you know how these two pianos depreciate?

      I don't know.
That’s a question to ask an owner of one of these, who upgraded to a different model within a few years from the original purchase...

@@ts3011ISRL I play on an upright and want to upgrade to a grand at some point. If going Kawai I’d most likely go for their gx range. I’ve played an sk last week, great piano too but getting up there in price. The gx for me seems like the sweet spot of value where the Germans and steinways can’t compete. I have k500 and dealer says I can trade up.

What piece are you playing at 7:17? It’s so beautiful.
