When Freddie sings “Your smile speaks books to me” and he gives us the most beautiful, radiant smile. 🥰 I also love the way Queen change up each chorus, just a little bit each time, by adding a word or extending the chord. It gives some added interest. Another good example of that is Headlong.

Another great reaction, guys. A similar up-tempo song is Headlong. Originally written by Brian May for his solo album but when he heard Freddie sing it, he made it a Queen song. It's one of the last videos with Freddie and he kills it, as usual.

An interesting fact, and I can't remember if it came from a biography or documentary. Anyway, Freddie showed up to the train shoot in his car, and the people with him were pretty concerned about him. He was pale and in terrible pain. They were sheilding him as he got out of the car, but some fans were near-by hoping for an autograph. Freddie's friends said a change came over him, he stood tall with a sparkle in his eyes, and he became Freddie Mercury for his fans. No matter how poorly he was feeling, he didn't want to let his fans down. There will never be another like him!

They didn't get tired of performing live, this was a few years after Freddie was diagnosed and they stopped touring after that. I love this video. Freddie looks great.
Love this video, those long distance shots of the band on the train are spectacular! There is a documentary on how this was done with band member interviews and it really is a must watch when you have the extra time. Just fascinating!
Okay, Boyz, One Vision LIVE!!! You really should watch the documentary on that one, so many great moments. Freddie laughs at one point and it is the best sound. Actually they are funny throughout. But the song is special, based on Martin Luther King, or at least that is what Roger said he thinks it was about before they changed all of his words, and when asked who, he answered, that bugger Freddie. 😂 it is a must, must, must, for sure about MLK, and the live version really shows all band members!! ❤️

Hey guys greetings from the UK 🇬🇧😊Loved this reaction!! This is real, a restored locomotive from Great Western Railway here in the UK, it was travelling anywhere between 30 and 60 mph, to the best of my knowledge there was no CGI which tbh would have been extremely primitive at that time if at all. Did you notice that the train was called Miracle Express to tie in with the name of the album the song was featured on? Given that this was filmed on the back of a moving locomotive the bots had to take out £2million in insurance against bodily harm (no shit lol 😆). And in ‘89 MTV was probably at the pinnacle of its popularity and Freddie & the gang not too shy of extravagance lol dropped 300K on this equivalent of around 950K in today’s money! And when putting the song together Roger Taylor thought that the sic bass from John made him think of a runaway train, so much so that it was Roger who suggested the jump on the back of a freaking moving train!! They filmed this in April ‘89, by this time Freddie was already suffering greatly from effects related to HIV Aids and was said to be totally spent at close of filming each day. Just 30 months later his battle was done 😢
Makes it all the more incredible, almost beyond words that he’d muster up the strength to record 1991’s Innuendo album!!
