  • Today I had the opportunity to experience the Mutt Razorback 125cc and give my thoughts on the bike. Hopefully you guys enjoy this slightly different type of video where I take the razorback around the streets of Birmingham and put it through its paces to see if this really is the best Retro Learner bike on the market?!

Hopefully they can get a good engine like Suzuki. That would be awesome.

The engine is a clone of the GN125cc by Suzuki. It might not be from the manufacturer but, it’s pretty much the same thing

I had one of these as my first bike and put around 3500 miles on it commuting daily and riding at the weekends in the space of 4 months before I passed my full test and got an XSR900. It was a joy to ride throughout and I find myself missing it often as it had bundles of character. You're spot on about the lack of power and the front mudguard. I'm 6'4, 100kgs and it did struggle to hit 60 with me on board. I think the fastest I did was 68 down a big hill laid on the tank. If money weren't so tight I'd 100% get another one with the 250 engine to commute on.

I can see why you loved it man! Get me to 1000 subs and I’m going to use the CZcams money to buy the 250cc and turn it into a supermoto style bike!

Off topic but where did you get your smock jacket?

Bandit windbreaker off Amazon. Only wear it over my riding jacket so just a cheap one

What’s a revometer? Don’t you mean Rev counter?

Yeah man pretty sure I said Rev Meter 😂 trying to think of my words while riding did me dirty!

What is the top speed? I'm thinking about getting one

Top speed for any 125cc is never going to be mind blowing but, in my experience you’ll be looking around 65-70mph at a push

What is top speeds for the 250s?

Mutts aren’t known for being overly quick they claim about 75mph on the website I’m pretty sure but, these bikes are more back road heroes than motorway work horses
