ti bastava avere un'antenna un po' + efficiente per arrivar ancora meglio. Sei in montagna, senza grossi disturbi fuori banda e probabilmente con broadcast fm non cosi forte, quindi non avresti avuto problemi di saturazione. Io ho usato la Abree tattica da 1m e spinge molto di più del suo gommino. Complimenti per il collegamento. Sono soddisfazioni :)
In realtà, dei vari tentativi fatti (dalla RH-771 ad altre, ma non la "tattica" che menzioni tu, da 108 cm, che pure ho anche io), la sua antenna originale si è rivelata ancora quella maggiormente performante. Ero anche dell'idea che la prova più interessante fosse con la configurazione originale dell'apparato. In Valle d'Aosta, la pressione dell'FM sul fondovalle è forte, in realtà, perché hai le postazioni sulle alture attorno alla città. Probabilmente non arrivi ai livelli di una metropoli, ma anche quassù si satura (e già, tra dentro casa e fuori casa, io noto una differenza di comportamento dell'apparato)... Solo per pochi minuti , ma il collegamento è stato con un pò di disturbo, ma soddisfacente.
È veramente un portatilino c'è dà soddisfazioni in altura principalmente a mio avviso

@@yamez69 Not exactely. I live in the bottom of an Alpine Valley, and I'm surrounded by mountains. Signals from the east seems to find a tiny "corridor" to get here, but if you mean flat ground and visibility on the other station, no I hadn't.
@@RadioChrisItaly Did you try FM on the same frequency with your contact? I'm curious to see if the Quansheng firmware mod(s) implementation of DSB has any of the range and digital mode benefits of SSB vs FM?
I didn't try FM, and I doubt performance varies a lot. Here is how developer explains DSB implementation (automatically translated from italian):
The Beken4819 chip was created exclusively for FM transmissions, it has no other possibility of transmitting either in AM or even in SSB. What did we do to make it "work" in DSB? we simply enhanced the "dirty transmission" that this chip has by adding an extra modulation in AM, it was found that with this trick there was the possibility of being heard by those who are receiving in SSB, the carrier obviously is not knocked down as in a normal sideband transmission but it is modulated.. the final consequence is a mixed AM - FM transmission so whoever listens to us on FM will always hear us.. perhaps not too well because there is no fixed carrier and those who listen to us on SSB will be able to hear us perhaps not too well because there is always a residual carrier... let's say that the short blanket has been positioned halfway.
Il problema di tute queste tipo di radio è che senza i ponti in città non raggiungono nemmeno 1 Km
Il problema di queste radio a low cost è che non sono all'altezza.........nel campo radioamatoriale occorrono strumenti e dispositivi funzionali a partire dalla bontà dell'antenna e non certamente il Quansheng UV-K5 simulando trasmissioni in SSB dei poveri solo perchè viene sostituito il firmware ,,,finiamola!!!
