I think your journals are really awesome. I'm the storyteller in my family and I've been journaling for quite a long time now and I realized a long time ago that my posterity didn't have to go through boring lines full of writing, so I always include lots of visual elements to make my journals interesting and enjoyable. My wife says what I'm doing is invaluable for our family history, and her words give me enthusiasm to keep on doing it. I also make my own journals myself and find the whole process really therapeutic and liberating. Thank you for sharing your talent and for inspiring others around the globe.

I wanted to let you know that I've finished my very first junk journal! You inspired me to start one back in October 2020. I loved your comment about it not having to be perfect and that I should just put things in it that make me smile. I did exactly that. And I was very pleasantly surprised at just how many things really do make me smile. From pretty packaging to cards from friends that would usually just wind up in a drawer somewhere. Thank you for that encouragement! Like you, my new one is larger with more consistent sized pages. It's also being done from a book of scrapbook papers I bought years ago and have never used. I don't have much occasion to take physical pictures so I don't do scrapbooking like I used to. So these beautiful papers have sat for years just waiting for a purpose. They have one now! And because there is a similar color palette throughout, it should be easy to put things together. I just wanted to say thank you. I've enjoyed it so much. I use your Step by Step Process you posted for beginners 4 years ago. It's so easy! This one is made to look like leather by using an old shopping bag for the cover. I look forward to going through your new journal with you.
