My name is Mizue, and today I would like to show you how to choose budget antique table ware.
I think there are many people who are interested in antiques, but think that it will cost a lot of money. I don't want you to misunderstand that you can't enjoy Royal xxxx brand items and rare items unless they're something that costs 10,000 yen per customer. There are many ways to enjoy it more easily and cheaply.
If you spend so much money on one customer, you won't be able to get it all, you're afraid to use it, what if you break it, it's a waste if you get tired of it, and so on.
This time, from among the tableware in our house, we have selected the cheapest ones, under 500 yen! I would like to focus on and give you tips on how to obtain and use them.

元ロンドン在住で、現在スコットランドに住んでいます。シンプルな白か色無地のディッシュウォッシャー対応の皿ばかり使っていて、アンティークやビンテージは食器棚の奥から出すことほぼなし。でも動画を拝見してエッグスタンドジャムを入れたり、ガラスものを青白磁と重ねたりして、もっと楽しもうと思います。参考になりました。

Hello from Australia. Really enjoyed your video Mizue. I have many amazing Japanese antique plates and bowls that I use everyday. They were purchased from my local flea market in Tokyo, some for as little as 100 yen. (although I occasionally paid as much as 10,000 yen for very beautiful ones). As well as hand painted plates I like the imperfect ones that are examples of early transfer prints. Sometimes I found boxes of very old porcelain bowls and lids from which I selected random pieces.

The sugar bowl is crystal you can use a teaspoon to hit it and it will make a high ring noise . Thats crystal . Glass is a dull noise .

Inoltre esistono negozi e sono veramente pochi che aggiustano vetri, non so se li in Inghilterra se ne trovano ancora. Anch'io sono una collezionista di vetri e porcellane di altri tempi e quando vado per mercatini o siti dedicati sono molto felice di trovarmi fra gli oggetti di altri tempi..trovo che siano un toccasano per il corpo e la mente..un caro saluto Daniela

そうですよねー、気が付いていただけて嬉しいです。最初はこの騒音、どうやって消そうか、と思っていたのですが、なんだかこのアンティークな雰囲気には悪くないな、と所々残しています。
アメリカ在住ですが、こちらでもリサイクルショップなどでヨーロッパの食器が手に入るので組み合わせて楽しんでいます。高価なものは必要ないですね！料理が美味しくセンスよく盛り付ければ十分だと思っています。

日本でもちょくちょくアンティークのトリオを見かけますが、やはり値段が違うので現地で買いたいですね。。
日本に入って来るものって厳選されているものが多いような気がしますから、それで高くなってしまう、と言うのもあるでしょうね。
そろそろ現地まで買い出しに動ける頃かな、、、楽しみですね。
