Huell always seemed even more like a kid when he was visiting railroads and checking out the cars.
Big Boy 4014 is currently in operation and was totally rebuilt and sent back into service. It's out on a tour as of this writing (8/24). I think it's homebased somewhere in Wyoming at a Union Pacific yard.
