  • Voting in Bangladesh's general election is underway. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's ruling party is widely expected to win a fourth consecutive term in office. The main opposition party is boycotting the vote. It accuses the government of arbitrarily jailing its members. An allegation, the governing Awami League denies.

BNP has proven again and again they are so politically inept that could't even bring themselves to election for three elections. They plan to go to power by inciting violence. They didn't give the BNP voters a chance and finally letting the people of Bangladesh making up their mind.

I am speaking from Bangladesh, Chittagong, we did not have any voter line in Chittagong and I saw on various TV channels that there was no voter line, I did not see people in the center and this Awami League broker election commissioner himself said that there were no people in the polling center and he said that voting was done till 3 pm. 27 percent and agents were only from one party. So, did 15 percent of the votes go away during the last one hour, or did the people of the election commissioner vote, or did thieves vote for Awami League? There are no people in the center, but where did so many lakhs of votes come from, and so many billions of rupees were spent? The reporter from Bangladesh did a terrible job reporting on the situation. The Bangladeshi media did a way better job, going into the polling stations and presenting the real picture: very low turnout, less than 5% so far, the only 'opposition party' (puppets) representatives were harassed and attacked, and there is video evidence of vote stuffing, including by underage minors who are of course ineligible to vote.

No economic growth during the Hasina 15 years tenure but development concentrated to her partymen. In Bangladesh there is a huge income inequality among poor, middle and high income groups. Few infrastructures development made but it comes into price and in the name of infrastructure development 11 billions dollars been laundered by the PM and her relatives. The inflation rate in Bangladesh on record in the history of the nation. People even compromising their meals and nutrition due to high commodity prices. And the middle income family heading towards low and low income families are at the brink of extreme poverty. So my urge to international media to label Shekh Hasina as autocratic ruller in the world history
