A far simpler than Broderick's version which is a bit over played, but I suppose this is how Marty really played so I'd say you're version is perfect.
Metal sucks exactly, on most covers people pick the last fast run but I always kinda thought I heard legato... And the first bend Marty bends the A note but even the tab says it's an A#. Best cover I've seen so far...
@@NikolaBrajic No he doesn't. He bends the A# and it's quite obvious from the way it sounds in this video, which is really wrong.
Otherwise this is a very good cover, but it cannot be perfect because the guitar has no 24th fret so, by definition, the solo cannot be executed perfectly on this instrument.
@@dirtyharry1881IMO if the execution is good enought to cover all the notes with the right tempo and the right technique it doesnt matter wether if its 24 or 80 fret two neck custom shop designed guitar
@@predator0095 You realize that the guitar does not actually have that note, don't you? I mean for real, it's not an abstract concept...
The solo HAS a note in that range.
@@dirtyharry1881 tbh you can emulate 24th fret on a 22 frets guitar if you just place the finger where the 24th fret should be without pressing it, originating a natural harmonic which is exactly the 24th fret note and that’s why sometimes you can still get a 24 fret note out of a 22 fret guitar without bending.. although very difficult to achieve, it IS possible.

Just been listening to various versions of this solo and even though some others have the really good sounding distortion, this version is the best i've heard so far. Sounds spot on and almost looks effortless.

I'been watching a lot of covers of this solo and you nailed it! You get the melody and feeling on certain parts that need to be play like Marty wrote them to have the same effect, I see some guys adding some tapping and shreed parts and is like, come on dude, this solo is not about speed 🙄
