- This beautiful instrumental was first released in 1968 and a year later on their Albums "The Pious Bird Of Good Omen" and also on "English Rose" .. This tune also made it to number 1 in the UK singles charts.. Anyone who may be interested , The Albatrosses are among the largest of flying birds, and the great albatrosses have one of the largest wingspans of any birds, reaching up to 12 feet...

I have recently heard the sad news about Carl's passing away and I'm still in shock, my dear Yvonne!! I am deeply sorry beyond words for your loss...so please accept my condolences to you and your lovely daughter-Tilly! Carl's channels were among the first ones I subscribed to 7 years ago when I got involved with the YT!! I realised from the very start how popular he was! I'm far away from your island (I live in Greece) yet I can feel the pain you're going through! But please think of this: "those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever"!!!! And also think that it's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember!!! May his memory bring you comfort!! Imagine him as an albatross that flies up high, spreads his wings and comes down to embrace and protect you each time you need his help!! Carl will be greatly missed by many but never forgotten!! He will live within our hearts!! I will never forget his smile... I pray that Lord bless you and your daughter always!!! R.I.P. Carl!!! 💐

I have the album that it's on. I love instrumentals and this is one of my favorites. It does bring back memories. The guitar playing is right up there with the Shadows.......

Oh i am staying focused, and just so pleased of the technology we have these days, because i don't know what we would do without zoom and skype to stay in touch with Yvonne and Tilly, which i do for about three hours each day.. Yes, just keep in touch with your family, but the time difference must make it a bit difficult. Yeah, Zoom and all it rivals have been a boost at the moment :-)
@@BoB4jjjjs Hi again Bob, there have been a lot more cases of Covid in my area of North Devon recently than when it first started, and two of my daughters here and the husband of one of them have also had Covid, so i have first hand experience of this dreaded virus, but so far i have been lucky not to get it myself, very lucky i would say.. Yeah without Zoom it would have been unbearable being apart from Yvonne & Tilly, but they are both doing well despite the very strict rules they have to live by over there, and even though the Philippines have been so strict, the virus is still running out of control over there, so that's been an added worry for me, as if Yvonne became ill what would happen to Tilly, it's a total nightmare.. Played this in hospital when our son was ready for being born, it kept me calm through the contractions. My husband was in the waiting room didn’t have any music to help him. Still my favourite music.
Snap. My daughter is now 50. 😁 I now replay the music through my head for relaxation purposes.
What year did you have your baby? I’m wondering because I’m wondering why he was in the waiting room that used to be a thing. My nephew is 49 years old and my sister was having him while her husband and me her kids sister were in the waiting room. But then my own daughter was born in 1981 she’s 42 years old and by that time they were birthing rooms instead of delivery, although sometimes in an emergency you had to go into delivery room, but nonetheless husbands/partners were usually with the mom❤❤❤✌🏻
