Back 4 Blood | Disappointing First Impressions & Gameplay

- Back 4 Blood is the spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series, having been made by the same people and heavily marketed as such.
With some weird monetization, Battle passes, seasons (I think?), and several other odd choices, it really seems as though they're going for a MOBA version of Left 4 Dead.

....also, sorry for the audio. It wasn't until after this video that I found out OBS does not play well with surround sound, so it made the audio sound 'tinny.' This issue has been corrected and won't crop up again in any videos from this point on.

We played it the day before for a while and I was just so over it lol.
At the end of the video I even say that I was trying so hard to be positive but it just wasn’t working.

I wasn't expecting anything great from this game but holy balls was it so much worse in every conceivable aspect compared to the low expectations I had. It also grinds my gears when people say "This was made by the same people who made L4D" which is just incorrect, there was six people who worked on L4D and now this, if I recall correctly. There was a very good video floating around when this game came out, going into some detail between the games and the two companies being these guys and Valve.
I could spend the rest of the day listing the flaws this game has and just shitting all over it but they've been sufficiently covered by the community, including you, thanks for this by the way.
PS: How the fuck does a murder of crows alarm a horde but four very annoying and quirky non-relatable characters with high grade firearms shooting at everything and anything does not?

Car alarms are a thing in the game tbh. It's just you would see crows and alarm doors more often than a car with alarm on it.
and cars can explode if you shoot it too much.

Besides the looming monetization schemes rising off this game like a steaming dog turd, this game just has no soul. It feels like someone took a look at L4D and went, "How can we strip all of the soul off of this product, market it as much as possible, and convince people the fact we've made a generic as hell modern shooter that just happens to contain zombie analogs is the true spiritual successor to a classic."
Really, this game just makes me want to play L4D2 more, seriously, what the hell were they thinking?
