Pretty sure your piller snapping issue that forced you to move to the center was due to a rock on the bottom of the river. If you had tried harvesting the rock the piller might have worked

crafting skill helps with the quality of your items with the blueprints even on vanilla AND it helps with the crafting speed on the things you can do on your inventory, arrows, foundations and stuff, added with a focal chili (which also gives you movement speed) you craft pretty quick.
Not sure if you know this but as long as you have foundation support below with snapped pillars or foundations you will never have the pillar poking through
I'm certain the storage crates are crooked I think it my be because the forge is crooked
You can raise and lower the foundations dynamically now in ASA. I think its Shift + "something". Might be Shift+mouse wheel scroll, can't remember.

Craftingskill helps with blueprint craft in older ark and i think it helps it in current ark too
Ik in the last ark crafting skill did change your craft speed and blueprints crafting outcome with no mods, not sure about the new ark though

You know a "butt" is actually a real (but obsolete) measurement of liquid in old English; so "metric butt-tonne" isn't actually as silly as it sounds ^_^

Double check your wall placements. You can snap walls to either side of touching foundations and be able to flip them. For instance, if you snap a wall to a foundation outside the intended perimeter of your building you will have gaps in your walls. If you are having issues, place your walls by standing inside the building and placing them closest to you or remove all the foundations surrounding your building, place your walls then put the outer foundations back. It's a hassle but OCD may get the better of you.

I normally run x10 on carry and gather and pregnancy and weight rates. Might be missing one.. but basically anything that takes tons of real life time... ahh yes.. tame rate as well.
Brother... 10x harvest??? You know the game as harvest dinos for a reason right?
