It's so great! I've already finished my first run of all the levels, the fishing minigame is really fun, there's so many secrets, and the soundtrack is incredible.

I thought it was releasing today, but it’s awesome that we were able to get it a day earlier! I just played through all the levels available and i gotta say, it’s really fun! :D Can’t wait to see more in the next update! ^^

I already start to play the game : The nostalgia from the other sct games bring me Joy again.The gameplay is so good that you want to play over and over again and the intro ,A masterpiece.

I could deal with my conscience and it allowed me to see the intro because we were afraid it may change. I noticed something, the picture rotates using Photoshop not pixel art only. And now let's talk about the main screen.... In the main screen I listened to the music and I wanted to cry but my little brothers were in the same room but I noticed something another, the music of the main screen is the same in the main screen of Super Cats Bros.
And I have one question I will say it if accept to answer it.

Next game should be sct1 remake as neutronized said he wants to do that. After that we would probably get the true sequel to sct 1 opposed to the 2 prequels tho this will be in a looooong time.

Currently admist playing World 2 rn (although I have replayed all levels multiple times in order to perfect levels in the quickest times possible) so Ill give my overall thoughts in detail

This will be completely spoiler free plot-wise as this will be more focused on the gameplay experience. If you don't want spoilers on the gameplay here is your warning

So far this game has been quite enjoyable! Some good things:
• The music and visuals are absolutely stunning and a big upgrade from the prior games. The longer levels do benefit this as you get to soak in the visuals a lot more. Theres a ton of variety in locales and its very nice to see certain songs from the previous game be remade.
• The game's performance has also vastly improved and doesn't lag after retrying levels several times
• The fishing minigame is very addicting!
• The addition of checkpoints is super good for a casual run (specially considering levels are longer now), also lengthening the stun time to balance this out.
• The helpers as a mechanic really works out quite well. I do like how some not only serve as attackers or supporters but also are utilised to solve puzzles throughout the world, giving you the motivation to purchase them. The evolution mechanic also works in getting people to farm for the upgrades so that they have better helpers
Some improvements and personal issues (this is all imo):

Disclaimer: I understand game developing, especially with a small team, is very difficult and stressful! And gameplay/visual/audio changes may have been altered due to the developer's own personal preference. These are just my own opinions and experiences with having played all of the games so far and having gotten addicted to SCT2 in particular!
Other Disclaimer: I've also learnt that the changes in a lot of things may have been in due to the shift in making a new game engine for SCT! I am unsure of how simple it will be to implement the below features, I assume it will be quite difficult but yeah!!

Control-wise imo it doesnt feel as tight or responsive as SCT2.
• The running and swimming speeds are significantly slower in this game (I have tested this, even without running shoes in SCT2 the regular speed is faster than in PAWS. Its slower than the original SCT too), which makes it feel really sluggish at times (specially as levels are longer now). Double tapping also sometimes doesn't register properly
• Frequently I get stuck on ropes whilst hopping off them (like I just wont be able to do so unless I climb up it a little bit) which was not an issue in SCT2
• The Super Jump is gone (which was a really wonderful addition to SCT2 for gameplay controls)
• The option to see your total time in the Overworld is gone despite a counter still being present in the levels themselves
• Google Play Games is currently not compatible or not working with the game at the moment
• As a minor but optional suggestion, it would be great if some of the hats could bring a small bonus to gameplay (for example, faster running, swimming, or climbing speed) instead of all of them being cosmetic. I understand not everything has to have a secondary purpose and some things can be just cosmetic, but it would be nice if some hats gave you a small bonus so it does give you a bigger incentive to get them and would help out with gameplay too
Edit: I have seen vids documenting hats that do have small effects like boosting fish rarity and vision in caves which is really neat!! Just hoping as well there are some that will help out with core gameplay too
• Another optional suggestion is to add a bestiary for the fish. I assume therell be a lot of fish to catch so it may be nice in the future if a little bestiary would be added to document the fishes caught, their sizes, and level locations as opposed to just being able to see it in the Key Items menu screen (which after being sold youll go back to not being able to see what fish youve caught. It would also be a nice little incentive and motivation to also catch uncaught fish too, I feel!
But yeah! Those are my honest thoughts and I hope that in future fixes or updates that some of these issues may be resolved (if you believe that my feedback is worth adhering to)! It is a wonderful experience so far and I can tell its a big passion project and milestone come through! Keep it up!!

I played the whole game and I loved it! It was very short and every bell was so tedious and annoying to collect and although it has many many flaws I still loved it! There seems to be a lot of content that went unused so hopefully there’s an update that continues the story

I just finished the first world and the little that e seen of the game looks spectacular, has a good understandable and clear story, the checkpoint system was the icing on the cake, the design of the cats is too cute and the cinematic entrance is already perfect.
