  • As we look ahead to 2040’s, the future of aerial dominance promises to be defined by cutting-edge aircraft that blend advanced stealth, unmatched speed, and sophisticated technology. Innovations in artificial intelligence, electronic warfare, and weaponry will enable these new platforms to maintain superiority in increasingly complex and contested skies. Let’s explore the aircraft likely to shape aerial dominance 15 to 20 years from now

      @@samkay-od5jc 2 years is a limited war??? in what universe? You can keep calling it a Special Military operation but its nothing more than an invasion from a Dictator who has delusions of grandeur.
      LOL Russia can't even defeat its smaller neighbor, what makes you think it even has a chance against NATO? They're advances are pitifully slow and at horrendous casualties (I watch those Ukraine Drone videos) And Putin thinks the Russian Army is 2nd best in the world? what a joke! Russia outnumbers Ukraine considerably and yet allows its territory to be invaded and its infrastructure bombed? I guess those really advanced weapons you claim to be in reserve is only good for parade grounds, and not good at driving Ukraine from occupied Russian Territory?
      Russia deserves all the sanctions it gets (and I say even more), as its been nothing more than a bully to its smaller neighbors. It occupied Chechnya, invaded Georgia and then Ukraine. While Ukraine may be suffering, its inflicting so much pain on its bigger neighbor that one wonders what will happen after the war ends? Not so long ago the Soviet Union collapsed after the disastrous Afghan invasion and that was from an insurgency, Russia isn't even up to the stage of occupying Ukraine.....

    Along with all these new military aircraft in the 2040s there will be one oldie but goodie from the 1960s still in service. That is that eight engine B-52 bomber with its new Rolls-Royce jet engines. They sure do not build bomber aircraft like that anymore.

      @@TheRevanchist It is true that the B-52 Bomber went into service in the 1950s. However the B-52 bombers that are around today are the last version of the B-52 bombers these were the B-52H variant that were made in the 1960s. These old B-52H variants will become the B-52 I variant when they get the engines and other upgrades.

    • @PapaOscarNovember
      @PapaOscarNovember Před měsícem +1

      I think this will be the latest upgrade cycle for B-52s.
      Palletized missiles (Rapid Dragon) have changed the rules of the game. Any cargo plane can now be used as a strike/bomber platform. C-130s and C-17s are now effectively cruise missile bombers.
      Future cargo planes will be designed and built with this in mind: for both logistics and strike missions.
      With this development, B-52 has become a 'single use' platform since it cannot fly logistics missions, and therefore an expensive one. They will be finally allowed to retire.

    The MIG 41 was already cancelled and the Russian government admitted that the SU 57 or the SU 75 will be produced, not both.
    It's interesting that the 2 advanced Chinese designs are using American digital images redone with Chinese markings.

    Only China can do all this. Many projects in China are carried out step by step according to plan, instead of only making PPT all day long like other countries. India's domestic aircraft carrier began long before Liaoning joined China. As a result, China has even come out with 003, and India's domestic aircraft carrier has not been completed yet. Although the Indian aircraft carrier is in service, it is actually a face-saving project to force a semi-finished product into service.

      China is decades behind the US when it comes to stealth technology. For example the B2 has been in operation for over 30 years and yet China doesn't even have a stealth bomber in service in 2024.
