2007-2011 Honda CR-V 2.4L High Pressure Power Steering Line Replacement FULL DETAILS

In this video, we show you how to replace a high pressure power steering line on a 2008 Honda CR-V. This line was leaking, and the driver could hear the good ol' whine from a power steering pump with low fluid. This job is definitely do-able for a DIYer.

Did this job today on my 2007 CRV. Your video was very helpful. Thank you for the effort to record it. I tried the driver side wheel approach to remove the large fitting on the end of the line. This approach does not provide enough clearance unless you have the crowfoot wrench, which I did not have. So I removed the air filter housing like you did.

If it’s already bolted in, try unbolting the 10mm closest to the threads to free it up a bit.

True, you can definitely do that. On my own car, I would absolutely. On a customer car, I only do that if I have no choice (usually rust/corrosion) just in case there's an issue with the new part and customer needs their vehicle back.
