My earliest memory of this song is of my Dad singing this. Since there were no musical instruments available, he gently tapped an empty Nido container. (Nido used to be a brand of milk powder popular in the Persian Gulf countries many years ago.). The rhythmic tapping and singing has stayed in my memory all these years! My Dad still loves singing these old songs every chance he gets, but being separated by several thousands of miles, I don’t get a chance to hear him in person these days. Thank you for singing and uploading this song. And thank you for a trip down lanes of memory!
