Standing alone in a back alley on the mean streets of CZcams can start to play tricks on you. I got a call about seven o'clock on a tip to bring my wife's killer to justice. To finally stop this so called Ice Man.
It was a cold windy night breathing fresh life through my trench coat. The street lamps down the ally were flicking off and on taunting my position in the dark. I reached into my coat and pulled out a cigarette lighting up my frustrations.
About six minutes later a man wearing a black coat, dressed in a run down suit stood under the flickering light. I exhaled a breath of smoke relaxing my nerves as it danced with the night sky.
He motioned towards me lifting up a single envelope. I couldn't help but feel uneasy. An anonymous tip usually doesn't pan out as well in the real world. Pressing the cigarette against my lips I made my way towards him.
Every step I made; I had flash backs of her. The way she walked in that bar that first night I saw her. She was shinning like the stars above. Quickly shaking my head I brought myself back to reality. . .

Guys Im from the future....and I've got some bad news.
You're easily one of the most entertaining music reviewers out there (I'd much rather watch one of your videos then, say, read a pitchfork review), but it sucks that you mostly only review albums that have been released since the inception of your youtube channel in 2009. If you went back and reviewed more older albums then not only would they be entertaining but they WOULD be contributing a lot to the grander musical conversation because the way in which you deliver your reviews is unique.
He does do that sometimes. Michael Jackson's Thriller comes to mind, for one.

What he’s already doing really makes the most sense. He reviews new music. And there is never a shortage of that. Old albums have already been critiqued endlessly . Every now and then bringing up a classic to see how it stands the test of time is great but overdoing that would get pretty redundant and start to take up space for new music that could have it’s chance at exposure.

manson does have a lot of good tracks, imo. close to me and invisible tears give me chills! i certainly think that if he was put in a position to grow and develop as an artist he could’ve really blossomed into something beautiful but given who he was he didn’t really have that opportunity

Respect to the Andrew Huang shout-out. Although Andrew has dipped into clickbait territory in the past, his videos are often very interesting and actually provide insights into music production that I would not have discovered myself. He also has a pretty good ear for creating dense and meticulous (albeit glossy) IDM beats.

Maybe u could review older albums in a different way by reviewing types like ‘misunderstood’ albums. Using the MCR tweet as an example and also the fact that you’ve praised the black parade, you could mention how people dispose the idea of listening because of its reputation when it’s actually a great concept album. You could do this with other albums too or do a different theme

How about a hidden gems segment? Overlooked albums from anywhere in music history. I loved the classics week with Roland Kirk - I Talk With the Spirits. I'm a big jazz fan but I had never heard of that album. That way you are providing a service introducing people to new old stuff that got, according to you, overlooked!
A retrospect review of an artist you like/is your fav in his genre would be great. Or maybe about an artist you think deserves more attention/respect. Overall I find this channel great but I agree with people that want less "actual" music review and more "historical" review. I hope this was understandable
