For those of you wondering, this base gun is a slightly modified (this one has trademarks) of a CYMA Platinum M4. These are superb guns and I will swear by them. The only downside is swapping the trigger (if you plan to upgrade), the CYMA trigger is a tiny bit smaller in terms of it's rotation pins
Appreciate the input and absolutely agree! CYMA Plats are arguably the best AEG's on the market - especially for their price!!
Cyma is the cheapest stuff from China, most of it isn't even real steel as internals or gearbox are die-cast zinc, which tends to break after some time.
I know a lot of people that still buy cyma, but they swap out nearly everything inside before even playing a first match, they swap piston / pistonhead, gears, hop up chamber /bucking / tensioner and nozzle. Also etu / mosfet swapped with titan gate, but not always and sometimes the barrel aswell if money is not a limitation.
But the outer parts and body are pretty solid.
Cyma has gotten better over the years, but you still get what you pay for and the cheap cyma prices don't come from nowhere.
But this is pretty good for someone who's just starting into airsoft :)
I was able to get a max model flat trigger in no problem
@@whitm8823 MaxxModels majority work. Out of 10 gear boxes, 6 we're able to take one no modification. CYMA's quality control is a bit more to be desired, though still great

Good gun, other than the face of the upper that meets the hand guard isn’t square. So the hand guard sits slightly offset to the barrel. Also the charging handles stick so you’ll notice your dust cover won’t close until you push the handle all the way in

I just recently purchased this kit and feel like a kid waiting for Christmas for it to get here. Will definitely share my experience when unboxing and getting into firing the gun. Looks like I might have a new 😊. I currently use a Lancer SPR. The Proline model of the SPR is incredible. Has a flat trigger so will be interesting trying a curved trig. Thanks for the video, really hoping this will be as good as I'm hoping.

just got mine today, as my first gun, got my 2 boys the G&G combat machine . comparing them side by side, the helios shoots much faster and the trigger response is fantastic. we are playing our first game here in Georgia at a local field this weekend (weather permitting). wish us luck lol

I run this gun, it is amazing. Shoots far, always passes my local fields chrono. Only thing is if you want to use mlok attachments make sure it’s the extended mlok screws. But this gun is incredible

Got my gun and accessories in the mail and have had them for about a month. What an incredible rifle. Even before I mounted and zeroed the red dot scope the accuracy with the iron sights is deadly. All in all 2 huge thumbs up. Cannot wait to play with it for the first time.
Bought this (pdw). Added a type c Maxx model cylinder 16:1 gears shs a jefftron v1 leviathan MOSFET in and an asg motor 40k boost. Lambda 5 363 barrel gaurdier 110 sp spring and it is the best gun I own I would match it next to my friends hpa systems. Also added a Maxx hop. And maple flat hop bucking. (had to shave a spot out on the upper receiver for the wheel on the hop unit for fitment) it was plastic so no biggie. The piston that comes stock in this is I think what really put it over the top as far as upgrades go. Very worth it. And you can cure the infected w all the snazzy logos. My biggest applause is for the weight and the piston full metal rack and already shaved. Makes upgrading it much more simplified. Worth the $ all day and night.

Yeah im left handed also, I have many airsoft guns that are not left hand friendly i just have to adapt
Only thing that should matter for lefties in airsoft is the selector and possibly magazine release (for a rifle). Otherwise, left or right dominance shouldn't matter too too much
I put a prowin hop up, prometheus tight bore barrel, and a gate titan in mine and it's a beast

@@Mysxtic Novritsch is a good brand, and as far as I know it doesn’t matter what mags you choose first since there (compatible?) but if not it depends what you like more you should research that yourself

Umbrella Corporation Weapons Research Group (UCWRG) is an actual gun company so this is pretty neat. The logo is an umbrella and its inspired by Resident Evil.

I'm thinking of getting an FN SCAR-L as my next airsoft gun. I decided to got with SCAR instead of M4 mainly because I like the look better (I get airsoft guns based on how cool looking they are lol), but damn this gun is nice
One of my guns is a SCAR. They're excellent guns. The accuracy on them is amazing even just using iron sights. With the simple red dot I have for it makes it very precise when shooting. Can change the spring very easily and it works great for CQB as well.

I’ve personally never shot it, but I have heard it is a very nice rifle right out of the box. Though, the price is more for its aesthetics than its performance. I’d suggest a normal Avalon for the same performance!

Your mosfet will break
its a good gun, but its cheap metal. my lower cracked on my second game, and the handguard became loose on the first. Ive also heard issues with the trigger connector, which I think I was experiencing before it cracked.
So as long as youre delicate, its a good gun

Hey I have a question then. I bought this gun and it seems the ETU is programable. I swear this is the stock gun. I'm wondering what ETU this is and where I can find the programming guide
I have gotten mlok attachments and put on normal forgrips. What I usually do is get an m lok hand stop and that works for me.
I never noticed that it was programable but it definitely is possible that it is. I would definitely invest in something like a gate titan because it makes this gun so much more capable. I didn’t need to upgrade any of the other parts other than the bucking and it shoots lazer beams even in the 8 inch version
it isn’t necessary but having a max trigger sure is nice and makes it even more fun
It’s been a while since you posted this video and I am planning on purchasing this bundle. I was just wondering how well it’s held up if you’ve used it at all.
Been a blast. We upgraded the inner barrel and hop setup, but it doesn’t need it by any means. Shoots great right out of the box.
(We have this exact rifle with the upgrades for sale on hop up)

@@hnl.asiankidd No, just no. Lancer Tactical has bad quality control so I wouldn’t rely on them. The Specna Edge series M4s are much better as starter guns

@@hnl.asiankidd I seen some people say theirs worked perfectly fine, and most of the reviews state the latter. So yes, I’d be safe and assume they’re as bad as people say they are and just buy a Specna Edge or Combat Machine to stay safe. Lancer has had issues stating their goggles were ANSI rated and they weren’t so it says a lot about what they make. Revention reviewed multiple Lancer Tactical PDWs and all the ones he was sent were broken

Hi, I got this gun around a month ago and I’m really enjoying it! The full metal really makes it robust for my type of play.
But I do have some questions, I got the 380-400 FPS carbine version… but the field I went to said I was shooting 360. How do I fix this?
Also this is my first time fielding the gun and only had 1-3 mags shot befor the field.
I’m also aware that their krono could be uncalabrated and or worn down, as their krono has Ben in use since I believe 4-5 years ago and even more
I just need any tips/tricks so my gun can proform better
You would have to change the spring. I would leave it as is if it is shooting fine.
If it has a quick spring change system then you can change out the spring easily.
watch out for the electronic swithc, mine broke after 3 months. I recommend a Titan gate
