Platinum Egoiste is one I've wanted to smell for a while now, but either don't get the time or forget to when I actually have the chance. I picked up "Eau de Grey Flannel" (not regular Grey Flannel) very recently because it gets compared to PE and wanted to at least get an idea. If you ever have $15 bucks to waste, it might make for a great video to compare the three and hear your thoughts Dave. Thanks Dave, valuable stuff as always 👍👍
I haven't tried Eau de Passion, but I have Legesi. It is not a clone of Platinum Egoiste, but it's heavily inspired by it. From the opening to the heart, it smells very similar, but without that metallic/iron accord. When it starts to go to the base notes, it becomes a fragrance on its own, with nothing to do with PE's drydown. I personally love the drydown, but I still prefer PE's drydown. But despite that, it's a gorgeous fragrance on its own, it's worth to buy cause it's too cheap. In my opinion, this fragrance should be more expensive.
