Excellent video! I built one a lot like it for my boss about twenty years ago. I put a grease tray in the smoker over the firebox with a drain valve on the side. It worked great. I love the reverse flow.
Thank you Jeremy, I'm a big fan of yours and I have the baby version of this.. The TS70P for my back yard. I've started doing small events and my cooks are starting to be requested a lot. I'm looking to upgrade to the TP250 of maybe the TP500. I appreciate you taking the time to give Meadow Creek some love. As always, your reviews as so appreciated. Jimmy, FL.
Glad you gave meadowcreek some love, they build amazing equipment. I live in Lancaster pa, 20 minutes from New holland pa. Where they are produced, and I own a few items of theirs. Hope you enjoyed it, from Amish country take care.
Reverse flow smokers are great. Medow creek makes some nice stuff. You should also take a look at Lang. They are one of the original reverse flow. They are a great family company with awesome customer service out of Gorgia. They are not as expensive as Medow Creek but they do an awesome job and are very customizable. Thanks for the reviews love the videos.
Great video. What do you think of doing a video about offset vertical vs offset reverse flow? Or the benefits and advantages of each style of smoker? There isn't many videos like that.
Jeremy, thanks for giving Meadow Creek some love as there aren’t too many videos on CZcams about them. I have 3 Meadow Creek cookers. A PR 60 pig cooker, a BBQ 42 chicken flipper and a BX 50 insulated box smoker. Maybe do a video on the chicken flipper as it’s pretty neat chicken cooker.
I would love your thoughts on some of the Lonestar Grills. Maybe their 24x42 with cross flow technology, and their vertical or horizontal offsets. Specifically those since they're different from the propane shaped smokers that we already know you're a fan of
Hi Jeremy, great video as always. Just a quick question, if this were a little bit smaller (24x48 or 24x60), would you prefer a traditional offset or a reverse offset? Thanks!
Very nice review my fraaand! I luv this RF flow smoker but my wallet would NOT!! Like you said, they really put some time & thought into this build & it shows. 🔥🔥💨💨
Great smoker, nice review. I just picked up a Yoder from Simi Valley BBQ HQ last weekend and I'm going to do my first cook on it tomorrow. Anyway, cheers! New Sub here!
You can tell whomever designed that smoker actually cooks. Really smart features, and appears very well constructed. Wonder how well those doors seal? 4 doors could equal some cold spots if they don't seal well.
just ordered a 120 on wheels with the heat box but i had added a grease pullout for dripping or water fill so it solves any issues with grease getting into the firebox. i was only the second person to order that but its a good idea. will let you know how it works out once i get it. its over a 8k gamble but i have faith it will do what i need it to do or i cry like a baby for a month lol
I have a question for my smoker build. On a 30 inch diameter tank, reverse offset, how big should the doors be (hinge to handle) in order to get 3 racks like this one? Great review on this one! I'll be taking into consideration the grease drip in the warmer box!
Great review Jeremy, next you should compare an 84 Lang and a Shirley Fabrication smoker alongside this Meadowcreek and give us your opinion on which is the best stick burner? Meadowcreek also has a chicken flipper cooker that would be nice to see as well?.....Thanks...Sumner
Why do you need 4 doors if the grates slide out?? Seems like more ways to lose heat. Also on that warmer/smoking cabinet you could just put a couple water pans on the bottom grate to catch the grease.
I would have to question who really makes this. Amish do not use any electricity at all, which will make welding pretty impossible. It may be made by Mennonites who do use power. If it is "Amish" then it is some newer looser version. BUT as always you make great videos and I am a faithful subscriber!!!
I've seen this smoker on several of your videos. I would try to put a larger stack, i.e., "FatStack" on this puppy. Fatter and taller. I bet it would breath much easier then!!
@@MJim-vo4qu I'm looking for a good smoker and Shirley Fab, Lang 84 deluxe, or ironmanjack are within driving distance (6hrs or lesd) from South Carolina. Will check out Allen right now.
Honestly this guy Allen is very skilled. (He's blessed) I've learned a lot from watching him with some ideas he has in his fabrication of BBQ grills n smokers. It's all done in his back yard.
@@ajflyingatyomouth2831 I know he does take orders but I don't know what shipping cost are? He was saying his prices were going to go up though cuz of Pres. Trump's Tariffs. I guess all US Metal is shipped into USA.
Why do you try and make it seem so hard to use. Reverse flow are easier to operate and they smoke cleaner then an offset smoker. Meadow Creek make great Smokers and BBQ’s

Thanks, after many others that seem to break down after a few years, I bought a Meadowcreek TS250 ten years ago and it has been marvelous.
Glad to see you posting new Videos Jeremy! Thanks!

Good to see the smoker up close. Saw the small version on big poppa website. You video is very in-depth. Thank you.
Very well put video on this smoker. Good job buddy.... Very detailed review! 👍🏼👍🏼
That's a good looking smoker Jeremy.. Nice review and wait to see how you season and cook on this beast. Thx
I really like your videos and cook technique. I follow what u do and had great results all the time
I love the bloopers. Awesome video !

Truly A Mad Smoker! Very Curious On That Huge Firebox,How Well And Efficient It Is.Cant For More Reviews.
How well are the pit doors sealed? Nice looking smoker. Thanks for bringing it Jeremy.

Shouldn't there be a heat shield of some kind in the firebox to prevent rust?
You have to do a review on Country Built BBQ by Allen's Welding! This guy is builds some very nice smokers n 🔥 fire pits.

IMO the best way to build a smoker. So much more room and radiant heat with reverse
That thing is a beast! Excited for some cooks on it.
When will we see the seasoning and first smoke on this reverse flow offset smoker? I can't wait.

Wow this looks SO good!! I was saving up for a Lang 36" but since Meadow creek is in PA, I can just drive there and pick it up!!
They are the nicest people you could ever work with .
Thanks @madscientistbbq could you please review the Pecos?
BBQ HQ in Simi is where I got my Yoder YS480. Good folks over there.
Wish list smoker! One question though.... are the shelves removable? The top shelves would be in the way when I cook a whole hog ....
Awesome!! Congrats
So cool, thanks!
Hey where do you get your wood? I live close to agua dulce and can’t find pecan wood
Daaaaammmmnnnnnn that’s a beast
Nice unit!
Did you use this one for the kosher cook?
That background is absolutely beautiful
Agreed! I always think this
Witch do you like better an off set or a reverse flow?
The upper box above the fire box can warm/dry your logs
Man could I do some damage with that! Can't wait to see what you end up doing on it! New subscriber here! Let's stay connected!
You could hot smoke salmon in the vertical part, I'd put a tray on the bottom rack to catch drips.....
What are you doing with that submarine?

dolamyte if you google Feldon Calculator it will show you the exact size of your firebox, exhaust vent, and doors all need to be.
that is a super nice cooker
Soo what do you like better? Double or single door? Wondering if it's easier too cook a pig and manhandle with two lids or one?
Great review Jeremy, next you should compare an 84 Lang and a Shirley Fabrication smoker alongside this Meadowcreek and give us your opinion on which is the best stick burner? Meadowcreek also has a chicken flipper cooker that would be nice to see as well?.....Thanks...Sumner
I think Shirley would win but that's what this guy is for to make up a fight list and compare and declare a winner.
Is there a smoker just like that but a little smaller
Man, Where are you? It looks absolutely beautiful there!
he's in Southern California
The Amish 😂👌🏾👌🏾. I’ve been trying to decide between a YODER trailer or maybe this . Or BBQ smoker pros in Georgia
Have you looked into Lang cookers. I highly recommend
Why do you need 4 doors if the grates slide out?? Seems like more ways to lose heat. Also on that warmer/smoking cabinet you could just put a couple water pans on the bottom grate to catch the grease.
bout to pull the trigger and upgrade my ts-250. meadow creeks are the best cooker out there IMO
You could put a 200 pan over the heat deflector in the vertical. That’ll catch the grease.
For above the firebox I would he putting some large Aluminium trays to stop fat building up in the baffles..
Would love to hear your take on a Lang Smoker?
The side box can be for potatoes, corn, and other vegetables Jeremy.
Do you have any Yoder smokers?
Why fire place is not placed in centre?
Wow you got yourself on bad boy pit there
Which is better? Regular or reverse flow?
These things are big $$$
The complaint about the box above the firebox is a northing burger. All you have to do is put a couple oil pans in.
thank you!!!!!!1
How much would something like this cost?
Who built this grill
Great video , and detail , but I won't be buying one I like Shirley Fabrications smoker, but I don't have one yet , but will save for SF smoker .
Yep, brisket challenge how many whole packers can you get on it.
I don't think I would put much weight on the warmer shelves. Looks like they would bend easy. No framing on the warmer shelves at all.
BBQ HQ best in the business
You should do one of your fatstack smoker
That Monster looks mean, but LETS EAT! ;)
How much

I work at meadow Creek as a Mennonite but everyone else is Amish including owner. They use a diesel powered generator to run the hole shop.
Reverse Flow Smokers only way to fly. Been using one for 16 years. Never had an issue.
How much does that bad boy weigh?
Verry beautiful bbq
I've seen this smoker on several of your videos. I would try to put a larger stack, i.e., "FatStack" on this puppy. Fatter and taller. I bet it would breath much easier then!!
For 10k, My money would go towards a Pitmaker trailer
How do the Amish weld without electricity?
Mind blown
Generator
you would totally just put a disposable greese tray in
But you could bought a Shirley Fabrication original straight back model
What is the price?
Likely your a$$ with your dick and balls on the side for shipping and handling 😂😂😂
Nice smoker but your Franklin style smoker is way better I’d take the franklin one over this any day .
America fuc yeah
How many Ribs can you get on this smoker
Door on the wood rack opens wrong way smh 🤣
I was thinking the same thing...
Amish people in 2019 are like regular people in 1919
It would cost you $3000 for 40 Briskets in the UK.
Another great looking smoker, but $10,000 for this rig upsets me.
Check out Allen Welding on utube!! This guy makes really cool smokers n fire pits.

1:00 Amish with an electric welder ???
Very nice, a reverse flow will hold an even temperature across the smoker. This guy has no idea what he talking about about half the time.
Where’s the FATSTACK??
Buy it for me please. Lol
Shit design I say pass unless it’s a freebie then I’d sell it for a Moberg Smoker!!
If the Amish use welders why can't they use a cellphone ?
Because cell phones COST money... Smokers MAKE money.
$10k? Holy cow! It's nice, but to recover 10k back from sales would take a looooong time.
That is a steal at 10k
Why do you try and make it seem so hard to use.
Reverse flow are easier to operate and they smoke cleaner then an offset smoker. Meadow Creek make great Smokers and BBQ’s
If you want to cook reeeeeealy clean, then don't use wood or coal. Just get a gas grill.
