When the embers caught the grass alight at a friends barbecue and the fire was spreading, my boyfriend and I took our Levi's off and used them to beat the flames out. After a few washes, the scorched areas frayed and our jeans look awesome.
You can imagine the fun we have when people ask us how we distressed our jeans. Quite a few people don't even believe us when we tell them. LOL (Jane).
