I have enjoyed Candace for years, but the truth is the truth. And there's nothing wrong with what happened. If your agenda doesn't align with the company's, and you feel inclined to voice it, then you get what you get. It's good for people to stand on their principles, but they shouldn't be patted on the back/celebrated for doing so, as if some herculean effort took place. It should be a sense of satisfaction that you stood your ground that overcomes you, an "All-in-a-days' work" attitude because, at the end of the day, everybody has their own opinion, even the person or entity you stood against. Don't think more of yourself than you ought to think.

I certainly agree in always being humble with your triumphs. I do think however, that you are blindsided to the significance of the DW/Candace split.
