Hey Guys we make a mobile game in 30 days, and show you the progress in this devlog. The challenge was not only to make a game in one month but to make an actual successful game in 30 days. We had a lot of fun making the game and we hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you think about it here in the comments or in our Discord we really appreciate your feedback and hope that you also like the game so that we can continue to work on it.
If you are new to our channel, we are Roxy and Mike and we make games full time. On our channel we will show our progress, work and make some challenges like this one for example and other random game dev related stuff.

Hey Rike! I've been playing your game for like 3-5 days now to fill my free time during work!. Here I have list some work you can do to improve your game (I heard that you wanted to take this game seriously and polish it further)
1. The 2x reward button doesn't seem to give 2x every time? Idk is this just my feeling or what it might give me 3x or even 4x
2. The current wave button can be larger (if you don't want to cover the screen you can add a animation when the player press the Battle button)
3. possibly add a power up system like missile, rocket launcher, fireball, nails, etc
4. the game is not balanced especially in the early levels (typically wave 1-5 is pretty fkin hard)
5. Add skin feature?? so you can make the most of your in-app purchase rather just a skip ad purchase
6. some prices are a little bit high like upgrading the base health and reward to purchase ratio is a little bit off

I tried the game. The game is not bad, bad idk why, but all my progress reset without any reason when I closed the game and opened the game again

This video was great and inspired me to start a new project in Unity 😍😁👏👏
I really like that you tell the main details of the implementation of each part of your game.
For example, weighing the bones in Blender, using scriptableObjects for zombies and soldier, using a separate camera to render the 3d character and use Raw texture to show that in the game menu, using a script to save the position and rotation of the character (this case was interesting for me and I have to test it myself 😁👍) and...
I think the next game is an 3d idle arcade with special mechanics, it will be interesting 😄

Looks very nice I really like the lowpoly models looks super cool! And also the optimizations very clever!
Very nice game and the loop definitely works and it has a really cool loop.
Two things though. Ads doesn't work and I think the sniper and machine gun are mixed. Machine guns reloads slowly and hits hard
thank you! we had an issue with the ads, but it should be resolved now.
we will check if they are mixed but the machine gun reloads also a bit slower and makes high damage, not as much as the sniper.

Have you guys contemplated working with hyper casual game publishers? From what I know they help test and refine your ideas to meet the KPIs

Played game and gave first 5 start xD, game looks cool but going back to position reload and then place again feels little bit annoying. I would love when placed then keep that position reloading but i can change whenever i want. Sorry this sounds quite different loop mechanic but just suggesting and sorry for poor english XD.

Hey sir I have an suggestion here for your game. As you asked for help in the video. I see potential in the game but you know what you only have few ways to earn by which players get benefits. First one is to get double money, second one is to remove ads and lastly third one is to remove tickets I guess (I dont know what tickets do please explain in reply) I would suggest you to add a Game Pass, in which If players purchase it they could remove all ads, they will get new amazing skins for their players as well as zombies, they will be able to get 3x coins without watching any ads, and they will get 1 free revive every match for a like 5 d0llars, and it should be monthly. Look if someone only wants to remove ads it would only be 1 time. But by making a game pass you will be able to get money from them every month
The Skip it's let you skip the rewarded ads, so you get the reward without watching an ad…

@@NAWABxHAMAS Yeah it's a good way to monetize but we first need to make sure that the actual core game is pretty good so we will add more content and stuff before deep diving into monetization

Thanks for playing! At the moment we’re mainly focusing on the core gameplay, monetization can be quite complex and we probably will test a bunch of different things, of course depending on the KPIs of the game…

as interesting this type of videos are, the app store are flooded with the type of games that make you watch ads, its just annoying, like if it was something meaningful like more skins, or more power etc, but watch ads just to keep playing or extra lives is just dumb
Is it successful now?... Are you Testing with a Publisher? Did you do ASO for the game on the App store? Are you guys earning from the game? Are you guys just creating for fun?... These are questions I really wanna ask you and your Wife
Hey! Still too early to say. This game not with a publisher. We did not really much in terms of ASO. Hopefully :D. Yes, we're creating also for fun :) but we are full time game developers

do you guys have any tips for someone that wants to learn c# in unity
Write down every functionality your project needs and start implementing them step by step, learning by doing, follow tutorials and read the docs and keep going... try to actually understand what you are doing or at least a little bit…

Did you test it or just assume it that raycast are to much? Mobile phones nowadays are so goddam fast. I don’t believe you can’t use some tiny racyasts and colliders for a mobile game…
Sure, modern phones are really powerful it’s rather a problem for low end (especially old android) devices… so yes you can use raycasts and colliders, we did it in some of our games.
We haven’t made a benchmark test especially for this game, but we are pretty sure that spatial partitioning is more performant even if it’s just slightly… maybe we’ll make a test to see the difference exactly

Nice to hear! Well, our suggestion is to just start making your first game and try to understand as much as you can. Follow tutorials, read the docs and keep going. If you are really new, try to make your first project not too big to finish it relatively fast 🙂… play similar games to benchmark. We wish you luck on your journey
Honest truth... Don't make casual games except you just wanna create something for fun, if trying to create with business mindset.. Then don't create a casual game
