- Aaron Nesmith is the best three-point shooter in this draft. His size and length at 6'6", 215, with a 6'10" wingspan, make him a truly intriguing 2-way prospect. He's another guy who has a defined role at the next level, which is a huge plus in this draft full of guys who may have more talent or potential but less of a defined or projectable role.
I see Aaron Nesmith going anywhere from the late-lottery to the mid-twenties depending on how the rest of the draft shakes out. A stress-fracture in his right foot is concerning but not enough to diminish his draft stock. If he can improve his handle and ability to finish at the rim, he can be a high-level impact guy for a long time.

@@crazyluigi6664 can't believe PHX took Jalen Smith at 10. Maybe they got cocky after reaching for cam johnson last year and having it work out. I really liked Smith and was hoping celtics could package 26 and 30 to got get him in late teens early 20s but wouldn't have wanted him at 14. 10 was a crazy reach.

@@crazyluigi6664 I thought PHX would take Nesmith, having him as a shooter wit cam book and paul distributing would've been lethal. Glad we got him. Celts desperately needed shooting. I wasn't too upset about trading bane. I liked him as a prospect but we got 2 of the 3 things we needed. A 3 pt specialist and a back up pg that can also hit contested shots and run the 2nd unit. I liked pritchard riller and flynn and would've been happy with any of the 3. Any one that really paid attention knew the celtics couldn't use all 3 1st rounders in this draft unless 1 of em would agree to be stashed. Now we have to get a big man(myles turner hopefully) but that's looking less likely but is still a possibility. With that said i still like Jalen smith and hope he does well with PHX. I was just surprised that he went that early.
More athletic Duncan Robinson also much better on the defensive end perfect guy for a team like the celtics at 14
i hope he's there for them. where this draft benefits the celtics is that they have their core. they don't need stars. they just need good role players. if they become stars, thats just a bonus

Aaron Nesmith has Klay Thompson written all over him. If I was the Chicago Bulls that is who I would target.
They need someone they can plug in immediately and contribute and Nesmith would give them great shooting off the bench.

If you were a GM in need of a high quality 3 & D shooting guard, would you draft Nesmith or Bey?
I think if you were looking for a shooting guard, I would definitely choose Nesmith. If you were looking for a 3 and D wing or stretch four tho I would choose Bey. I think Nesmith vs Vassell would be the bigger debate.
@@gmoore6129 yeah you're right. i looked into Vassell after reading your comment. his defensive potential is dope! i wouldn't play Bey at SG for the bulk of his minutes, but he does seem versatile and agile enough to fill in the position when needed.
it's a nullified debate for me though, since I'm a Kings fan and we took a PG. im hoping that Haliburton is a willing SG. gotta do my research on him now

Fultz has been great for them and he’s only going to get better. If he never returns fully to his old shooting production then he needs to be surrounded by shooting and athleticism.
