My history teacher doesn't even hide the fact that the school system is bullshit. He once said something about how its about following orders so you can do these orders in the real world, its not about which career you will take and hopefully enjoy it. And that 90% of the things he learned in school were useless in becoming a history teacher.

I teach high school history and government, and from the opposite perspective, my coworkers all fall into these tropes. We don't have a "sus" teacher to my knowledge though, for which I am grateful. Its all about balance, yeah sometimes learning can be boring, but its up to the teacher to make the material engaging. Thats why i love things like class debates and mock congress, gets the kids into it. Keep up the great content, I might be too old and nerdy for the channel demographic, but good content is good content, earned a sub from me.
