Thats was fantastic. I kept hearing a disturbance in my earphones, the kind like you know someone is talking, but so faint that its impossible to get what is being said. I'm very astute in hearing sound waves (vibrations) change when there is talking. Most can't hear what I can. Believe it or not I can hear radar from the police. Everyone thought I was crazy. Until my daughter was with me on several occasions and I stated that I could hear the radar, she laughed and I said it's steady so he is sitting just up ahead on the right. Then she saw the police on the right with the radar gun, and said how the heck do you hear that. I said I don't know, I just can. She had been with me different times and said it was just a coincidence. After 5 or 6 times in a row she finally realized that I could. Lol.
@Dr Dimpy Rambo cats dont make that kind of sound unless something aggressively is threatening it. And you would hear if there was something aggressively threatening it. Not just their response. A cat wont make that sound over and over just from people (amy and mom) in the area talking.
@Dr Dimpy Rambo when a cat is in heat, they make an entirely different sound. It's like a long howl sound for males and females. If a cat is being aggressively threatened by a dog or other animal, they would hiss not screech like the sound in this video. After 30 years of rescuing animals off the streets of Brooklyn and other places, yeah I know what I'm talking about. Do you? Commentors on here have already said they know it to be possums bc of their familiarity with possums. Want to challenge them too?
Hi Amy, the screeching was definitely possums. I lived with them in my walls and ceiling for 8 years. Even when you know what it is, it will scare the s$&t out of you, every time.
@@jenniferesser8249, yes, they can, but, normally they will run, I have had to catch them, to put them out of our house numerous times, when we lived in the Dandenong Ranges.
I investigated the old fort here where I live and I heard a fox screeching and even though in the back of my mind I knew what it was it was still creepy. I think you can hear it in the video

That has got to be my favourite episode ever! 👏🏻 Wow, that place is really crazy. I looked up Tasmanian Devil cries, and they sound more like snarling dogs. A deeper growl/noise than you heard. It could be pareidolia, but I thought I heard "No! Help me!" during the screams around the 24.58 min mark, if you listen carefully. Made me think of a woman screaming and being dragged to a cell. I kept getting that vision in my head for some reason!? Great video btw. Loved it! 👻💖
Hi Amy, that horrid screeching is territorial possums. I live close by, they freaked me out when i heard them first time. They're probably sitting on the roof or just outside going through the bins. They sound like something was getting hurt 😆 tassie devils and wombats make similar noises. Cool show 👌

@ 14:57 - you can faintly hear what sounds like a door either opening or closing. @ 15:05 - it sounds like either the same door moving or a disembodied voice. @ 17:53 - you can hear a tap or bang on the wood in the next corridor. @ 19:16 - was that one of your stomachs growling? @ 31:14 - it seems like an orb darted from left to right behind your mom's shoulder into the room behind her (where a few seconds later in the footage you both hear footsteps). @ 38:58 - as soon as you finish speaking you can hear a disembodied moan. GREAT INVESTIGATION AMY! You ladies caught some really good evidence 👏.
At about 39:00 when you’re in the men’s solitary cell 3 and you’re talking about how you can’t imagine being locked in there for up to a month, you can hear a voice and it sounds like it’s saying “uh-huh” almost like it’s agreeing with you. It’s very faint and I had to listen a few times but it’s definitely there.
Great vid Amy and Sonja,lots of things happening ,dont think screeching was from outside,those solitary cells were made so you could not talk to each other,sound inside ,animals make a lot more noise,certainly there was something there with you,probably didnt know how to communicate,Use a good mirror for looking into hard places,shine the torch and will give some light,did you check if manikin had moved,good vid ,cant wait for the next one ,thank you both keep safe

You should visit Fremantle prison in Western Australia the prison closed a while ago but it was reopened as a tourist destination. I have only been there once but I have heard stories about people who did night tours would hear voices, footsteps and the sound of rattling keys. There were also cold spots in different areas of the prison and people have also felt something touch them during the tour. The most haunted place in the prison was the hanging room where a woman named Martha Rendall who was hanged in 1984 . People have spotted the ghost of Martha around the hanging room. There has also been sightings of white glows in the prison windows and other shadows walking around the prison courtyards

I think that was a Tasmanian devil I don't know much about him cuz we don't have them here in the US but I think that was more possible an animal then something paranormal... but there is a chance it is something paranormal so I'm 50-50 on it.. I think the screeching sound was a curlew, sometimes called the "screaming lady bird", because it makes a sound similar to the one you recorded

That was definitely an awesome video it was definitely in your top five you have a few videos that I absolutely love.. I think that was a Tasmanian devil I don't know much about him cuz we don't have them here in the US but I think that was more possible an animal then something paranormal... but there is a chance it is something paranormal so I'm 50-50 on it.. I love the video I think you got a whole lot of evidence really awesome place it's one of those places that I think you should go back and do more investigation.. keep up the good work and stay safe
