The year: 2008. Ichigo vs Grimmjow had finished then the next episode started a filler arc. The filler lasted from April to October 7. With the filler finally over, hype for the next episode increased because many waited months for the main story to return and we were getting a new OP by Aqua Timez. The day finally came. The episode begins and the OP starts immediately. You see Ichigo walking with his silhouette changing to the beat and you notice the beat is a banger. You stop. You replay it from the beginning. The intro beat immediately sucks you in because you know a banger is coming then the song just explodes at the title drop and the rest is history. The amount of times I replayed this song because it became my favorite Bleach OP song (at the time) cannot be counted. Aqua Timez delivered as expected.
It’s crazy because I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the episode first aired on adult swim/toonami when it came back from the filler arc. Greatness.
13 was better in my opinion but this one was a banger also.

Those First 8 Seconds are so simple, yet sound so perfect.
0:43 - The Bleach squad making their grand return to anime in 2022. You love to see it! That shot of them walking together is everything. Hearing Aqua Timez is so nostalgic too.
The only the differences are the timeskip and the outfits of some characters.
