What a straightforward, well put together tutorial! Great job.
To add, when making these adjustments on the curve hold SHIFT while moving a point to only move vertically, hold ALT to make the movement in all directions slower making it easier to fine tune(tone) and use ALT+SHIFT to move slow vertically only.

Very easy to understand video. I learnt something too about the separate colours of the tone curve that I don’t touch.

The sliders underneath the curve are good for adjusting the sort of bias of the curve between each point, the gradation between shadows/mids/highlights, which you can't do solely by manipulating the positions of the points without adding more between them.
Good explanation though, particularly with the colours in the rainforest.

Hey dude!! Thanks for the comment. Definitely no right or wrong answer when it comes to the tone curve, especially if you’ve found something that really works for you that’s awesome. Some people use more than 3, some less. S curve with 3 is just a super common one and pretty easy when you’re starting out I reckon!
