Glad we kept him. After his injuries and the tragic situation with his father these last couple years... I have no doubt he's going to be better than ever. Not to mention the Brock and Pete bromance is still alive which is a huge bonus.

I was a little worried that he'd be coming back at his qualifying offer for just one season and wreck the cap situation even further, but he's back for 3 more years at a fair cap hit. Here's hoping he can get through what was a horrific last few years and work towards reaching his potential. When I saw him play in his rookie season, I envisioned a perennial 35-40 goal scorer at his peak. The Prom Date still has that potential, but in fairness, I appreciate that he's developed, even under really difficult circumstances, into a well rounded offensive player. He's not just a one-dimensional shooter. Maybe he could stand to work with Bo's skating coach, but overall, I still think he has the skill level to put up 35-40 goals and 60-70 points in his prime, if he can stay healthy. The Canucks need a big, gritty forward to help with that, though. Not just an enforcer, but an enforcer who can play. A 2022 enforcer who everyone's afraid to play against.

I mean this guy is underrated. Much better than people give him credit for. Don't mind the contract at all. Hope he has a great season

Happy they made something work with Brock. He had a tough year off the ice and based on his recent comments can focus on hockey again. He has an elite shot and is a great human being. Excited to see what he can do this year under Bruce. This shows Brock cares about the team and wants to win here.

Only Brock knows how much he had to go through this past season. We as fans can only wish him and his family the best; the media should only focus on his game.
Let's go, Brock! Never forget you're an all-star in this league!
