It’s great to hear my British cousins speak with such enthusiasm about these Chevys. My grandfather was from Stockport and came over with his mum in 1912. He served in the 28th infantry in WW1 alongside his British counterparts.
How many of you also found it annoying, him saying Zead and Knot?🤔
I think he’s saying zeta, which is Z in some languages like Spanish and Greek 😊

Proper english. "Zee" can be confused with C,T,D,G,P and E. Saying "Zed" makes it obvious. "Nought" just means zero in England. It would be annoying for some Americans.
I think a couple of the top speeds were off but other than that, great video 👍
ZL1/CTS V did not share the ZR1 Engine lol

The order of cars is a bit off. C7 Z06 is a way stronger than C6 ZR1 and infact c7 Z06 is a tad faster than C6 ZR1. I know because I own a C7 Z06.Plus the top speeds are off by 15-20 miles per hour meaning they are slower than what you have in this video.
Gearing on C7’s suck especially the automatic. 5th gear falls on its ass and idk what you mean by “way” stronger. LS9’s are forged internals handling over 1,000 whp and lasting a while making that much power. Your platform is limited and it’s no secret in the LT world what y’all HAVE to do to make power safely
@@isiahgomez6860 What? limited? C7 Z06 can handle 1300WHP. Way more than LS9. Moreover, the suspension and handling of C7 Z06 is far superior than LS9. The gearing of C7 is short for the first 4 gears which is enough to beat any LS9. Im talking stock for stock. yeah the 5th gear is long so what.
Guess we only counting factory built in this case.

The Camaro is still a muscle car, look at the SS 1LE and those beefy ass rims some of the nicest OEM rims you'll find on a car 10 times more badass than the ZL1 and I'm happy for that because I have a 2023 all black with satin black trim and hood Goddamn Chevy did a great job with that.
Also Forgot the Gen 5 Z/28 and ZL1 1LE
C6 z06 doesn’t start production until 2006.
C6 Grand sport didn't come out until 2010. Not 2008
The Camaro SS didn’t make the Cut?
If you ever include any Shelby or Hennessey vehicles from Ford and Dodge, you'll have to revise this list to include the Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE Exorcist. That's actually factory built unless you take your personal car you already built, to Hennessey. It'll say "Exorcist" on the title and registration.
How many caught that there wasn’t a C6 grand sport in 2008?
They were not even offered until 2010.
And how many caught that the first several pictures they showed of the grand sport were actually Z06 pictures and even an LS-7?
And the Z06 didn't come out in 2005.

So both of my C7 Z06 3lz s would do 0 to 60 in 2.95 secsonds. Thats the self timer function on boards claim. I had both of them claim that same number on the same stretch of pavement. So i dont think the knot to 60 times are accurate.
How many 1965 and 1966 Camaros are out there?

The Camaro did not have 660 hp. It had 650 hp the same as the C7 Z06. same motor same output

Pretty sure english isnt his first language. In most languages Z is pronounced as "Zett" or "Zed" and not "Zee" as in English.

C7 Stingray isn't planted. Only Z06, ZR1, and Grand Sport are planted.

@@aaronvector4750 I am sharing what people in our club have told me with unmodified C8 Stingrays. I felt very stable going 180 in my C7 ZO6.
Cap. 5th gen zl1 top speed isn’t that much and a ls3 vette is faster then both that and a c7. C6 top end is better then a c7.

Used to be... they've been slacking. Ford is beating them. And dodge's overweight family hauler , the hellcat and demon handily beats the ZL1 (but starts falling off due to heat) .

Not being sarcastic but American english is not the only Language in the world and saying zed is natural for Non american English speaking people to say.
