Here are stunning views of Carters Lake & Dam in Chatsworth Georgia during a slight drizzle!

Hello everyone. Here are some stunning aerial views and a few fun facts of Carters Lake in Chatsworth Georgia.This lake is around 2.5 hours drive from Atlanta (maybe sooner) depending on which direction you're driving from. As we were filming it started to rain but we were able to get some great shots of the dam and lake. The lake is 450 feet deep making it even deeper than Lake Lanier and the deepest lake in the state of Georgia! The man-made reservoir is located in Chatsworth Georgia and has a multitude of amenities including: cabin rentals, camping, hiking, boating, swimming, fishing etc.

Technically speaking, the majority of Carter's Lake is in Gilmer county, specifically, Ellijay. I know, I live on the Camp Branch of Carter's Lake. The dam is in adjacent Murray County, in Chatsworth, as you state.
