I always love the look on the new guys' face when I say we're taking the stumps but he knows I don't have a stump grinder. Good video Bino, people always think stumps, especially small ones, are impossible without a giant excavator.
Keep the stump long to provide extra leverage to yank or push on once you've weakened the root ball. A sawzall can also be your friend to cut the roots if chopping the roots isn't going so well.
True more leverage is best if you know you're going to dig it out. True a sawall can help. I really like the Pulaski also a MUTT or a Slammer. Thanks for sharing!
Problem is my tree stump is wedged in a tight space behind my shed which is right in front of my cement carport(6 ft high wall) and my neighbors fence right next to that. It’s growing under their fence so I really only have access to 1 side. I have all the items that you mention. I’ve even tried to access it with a saw the space is too tight 😩 it’s like 2ft by 1 ft
There is a tool called MUTT it might be helpful. www.harborfreight.com/4-inch-mutt-with-wood-handle-95005.html?campaignid=19160190702&adsetid=149829371488&product=95005&store=414&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAjfyqBhAsEiwA-UdzJJM82ve4F6bTE3hjf565_u8CqDxUnqQVzsuWFyKIwpSO326pJryp7RoCjacQAvD_BwE
Those axes with the tiny mattock on the back are ok, but if you ever try out a real cutter mattock, you won't use the axe anymore. Whatever you use, putting a proper edge on it will save a lot of effort. Love your vids, Bino!
I like the Mattocks more if I'm just digging but I like the light weight of the Pulaski when I'm removing roots especially if there's lots of roots. Great tip about keeping your tool sharp that makes a huge difference in energy use and time used. I sharpen everything. If I'm planting a tree you can be sure I've sharpened my shovel. Thanks for sharing!

Too funny but true. Especially if it's on a slope. Thanks for sharing!
Looks easy going to try this thanks

Great Advice! 🎯👊💯
Very nice vid. I watch the full video previously. I like the loppers as well.

Excelente amigo gracias por compartir tus conocimientos con nosotros me fue de mucha utilidad
Nice, glad to hear it. Take care!
You can use that last piece as a battle mace.
Thanks for the tips Bino. I always try to keep my loppers out of the dirt.
Me too, that's why bought a cheaper pair for when I need to cut roots. Take care!
Clean and store your tools good. They will last. Awesome job brother! 🤙
Thanks 👍

Boss level
Thank you!
This is easy...?
Is it safe for me to do this with a stump right outside my patio? It’s very small, like half a square foot but it’s deep and my soil is wet
I'm not sure if it's to tight of a spot you might hit something. A saw and shovel and pruners may work better.
Yes it is easy when the tree is already dead
It’s like a small bush or small tree
It's a small Chinese Flame Tree.
Be nice if it took 40 seconds.🤣
True!
@@BinoH 🤣👍
Trees are too much problem in the yard . The roots grow all over in the yard.
It depends on which tree you choose to have in your yard. Right tree right place.
A sawzall works so much better than an axe or any hand saw!!!
Not always. I've had so much more success with an axe and loppers.
Excelente trabajo esas loppers se ven de buena calidad donde las comprastes
Get a farm jack
Grinder is the way to go. Don't waste your back for an $80 stump grinder rental from home depot. If you don't have a budget, this is way to go.
True a grinder is a heck of a lot better. Thank you for sharing!
No major tools? Dog you literally use 5 different tools.
No stump grinder our power saws just hand tools.
even a poor family has these tools laying around
