I was raised Christian, but as a kid I used to see the Jinn a LOT. There was one in particular who would come to my room every night. I used to wonder if we were cursed because bad luck, tragedy, sadness, always followed my family. I would still see or feel the presence of the Jinn all the way to adulthood although less frequently.
Finding out about the existence of Jinn and the evil eye in Islam shocked me because Christians often act like you are crazy if you have experiences of paranormal or evil following you… there isn’t so much a defined concept of that. They say that you should just be able to pray to Jesus for them to go away. But it did not really work. They would sometimes go away in Jesus’ name but they always came back.
After asking Allah and saying Shahada recently I feel like they have really left me completely alone for the first time in my life. I feel protected. Masha’Allah.

well ayahuasca and psychedelics make you come in contact with a bunch of hyper space creatures. I’d say Christianity is well aware of its evil entities as well but you’d need discernement of spirits to see beyond the veil which was my case. Fascinating to have Islam explain in depth though.

I used to see things as a kid as well. Also my little brother and a couple of the neighbours. Would you be ale to say what they looked like? Islam is the only Faith that addresses these things. I always wondered what it was.

I immediately felt a sense of peace when I began to watch this podcast. What I have noticed, since converting to Islam in December 2022, the true believers who have complete faith in Allah, have this aura of peace surrounding them, their voices are gentle, quietly spoken and the way they carry themselves, is quietly, humbled and peaceful. When I see people like this, I see a white light surrounding them. I have utmost trust in Allah. I never feel alone, even in my darkest times now, simply because of my total trust in Allah alone. I am gradually learning, with Allah, we never cease to learn. Recently, I was in Istanbul, Turkey, we had been there for 9 days and we (my fiancé and I) ourselves in what others would describe as a dangerous situation. We somehow ended up in a Syrian Mafia hotel, three floors up, I had my wallet stolen by Syrian Gypsy children, I confronted the family asking for it back to give them a change to rectify their actions, they all laughed in my face. The police came, they tried to deceive the police, I could see they were mocking this one police officer, so I left angry, I, unfortunately had lost my temper, my words were not good. When I arrived at our room in this hotel, my partner, Youcef, said there were six large men about the enter the building, the owner of the hotel outside the room, saying in Arabic, he would try to find a solution. I have no idea how I managed to put all our personal belonging of any value, into my suitcase, my 6 week kitten (given to me at the New Mosque two nights previous) into my rucksack on my back. To this day, I have no idea how I made it down the three flights of stairs as no lift and out into the darkness of night. My kitten and I, hid in the cover of darkness for several hours, my little kitten I had named Phoenix, sitting watching over me as I slept a little, until I felt it safe to come out of hiding. During this time, two Turkish men came to me, asked me to follow them, I refused, then when I was asleep as if in a dream, one of the Turkish men was standing in front of me again, telling me to come now, follow him, I got myself up, my kitten in my rucksack and looked around, this man had disappeared no where to be seen. I started to walk and there in front of me was Youcef, my partner who had been looking for me several hours. When we returned to the hotel, we tried to enter, the large muscular tattoo man at the door, refused us entry, I request back the 6 days cash we had paid to stay there, the man became angry and tried to punch me in my face, once again, I ran, with my kitten in the rucksack, Youcef found me once again, we slept on a park bench, the kitten watching over us until day break. I am 100% certain and confident in that Allah was watching over me and Youcef, humdullah. There is no way, I could have escaped all of this without Allah's intervention humdullah and the guardian angles watching over us. I wanted to tell this experience as a means to confirm to anyone, who has any doubt over Allah and his ability , to protect the believers. Allah is all knowing and all seeing inchallah. I have no fear in walking alone at night because I know, that it is Allah who decides when someone lives or dies, no one else inchallah.

I’m Surprise how your kitten stayed quiet with you while you were in hiding . Subhanallah what a situation to be. 💬For example take a look the first statement:
🌹Don't insult (Q49:11), when you google Quran 49:11, then you will see the complete surah’s English translation and you will see following:
☝️🕋O believers! Do not let some ˹men˺ ridicule others, they may be better than them, nor let ˹some˺ women ridicule other women, they may be better than them. Do not defame one another, nor call each other by offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebelliously after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the ˹true˺ wrongdoers.☝️🕋
    🤲🌻ALWAYS REMEMBER🌻🤲:
✍Allah is the most merciful and forgiving, no matter how much you have been sinning, run towards Allah , turn to Allah and repent , ask for forgiveness. Some references from the Quran:
    🌺🌺🌺🕋Quran 39:53🕋🌺🌺🌺
Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
    🌺🌺🌺🕋Quran 25:70🕋🌺🌺🌺
As for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds, they are the ones whose evil deeds Allah will change into good deeds. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

about 10 years ago I used to listen to Sheikh Hassan Ali's lectures almost daily to get me through my darkest times. Was around 19-20 at that time. May Allah elevate Sheikh Ali here and hereafter. Indeed his lectures/advice/manners were the reminders I needed.
It's great to see him here in OnePath.
I know he is a director of one of the Islamic Institutes in UK. Perhaps his time as a teacher in formal setting doesn't allow for podcasts as much. Would love to see him more in these podcast settings!
Also , he has a couple of older lectures on the world of the unseen! worth a look for anyone interested

Today is the first day of Dhul Hijjah. Tuesday June 27th will be the day of Arafah. Wednesday June 28th will be Eid al adha. Be grateful to Allah you were able to witness the ten blessed days of Dhul Hijjah. Take advantage of these blessed days of dhul hijjah by doing many righteous deeds. Fast, give charity, increase your dhikr/dua, increase your prayer, fast the day of Arafah, repent, offer Udhiya/Qurbani, attend Eid prayer and be good to your parents especially your mother. May Allah give us the strength and energy to perform many righteous deeds during these blessed ten days of Dhul hijjah.

In UK and many other countries, today is NOT Dhul Hijjah. It is only for the blind followers of Saudi government who claim (as always) that they have seen the moon when it's scientifically impossible for it to be seen yesterday night.
May Allah guide those blind followers so that they follow the correct sunnah of sighting the moon locally and not believe in liars like the saud family!!
By the way, eid is on Thursday 29 June for people following correct sunnah in UK...

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. On the part of jinn possession. the shieik discussed about the complete possession wia one cant hear Himself n u cant even mentioned Allaah but i did remember the last jinn attacked i had the whispers wia overwhelming i was screaming n crying but the names of Allaah and duah never left my mouth. I have never missed my Salah i do my azkar most of the time i try to abstain from what Allaah doesnt want. I actually do feel my iman is a bid high compared to before i got married which was 7 years back. Could it be that i am lacking in iman

Being diagnosed with mental illness by a professional doesn’t exclude the presence of jinn, evil eye or sihr since all these three will be diagnosed as mental disturbances by a psychiatrist. Also, mentall illness and jinn or sihr disturbances are not mutually exclusive and oftentimes they are all present, wheather jinn and sihr caused the mental illness or the other way around, a mental disturbance opened the way for the presence of jinn. Unfortunately, this problems are far more widespread than most people realize because the modern lifestyle has opened the doors for such influences. Too many people in their eagerness to look “modern” and not “superstitious” deny basic teachings of Islam as if their disbelief will vanish such influences for which our religion has so many teachings and prayers of protection.

  • @silver2zilver

I have a question that comes from this:
I was with this girl who's father left her family of 3 when she was 11 years old. She let herself be a victim and hung out with every man, portraying them as every evil side of her father. Atleast what she thought.
I always thought her father left an evil eye on her. I was wondering if I spoke to her father and got deep, would I be able to bring attention to his evil eye? Or would that make it worse? So then I ask, if I spoke to her father and didn't mention the evil eye but allowed him to love me before revealing my intent with his daughter - then would he remove the eye on his own?
They say "sib il ayne" sib means swear, which comes from the mouth. Which means you can't just look, you have to swear on it. I'm wondering if her father sibbed on her and can I remove this by speaking to him? I fear if left to her own, she would become the result of his ayne. Surely there's a way to prevent this for someone you see something different for?

Sorry I want to give you an advice from the little I know, you are too concerned about this evil eye, you should focus on another aspect, Allah is in apsolut control, if this evil thing happened is only because allah allowed it to happen to her and this could be in order to teach her something, sometimes if that happens to you it could be your own fault, you just have to read the last 3 chapter of the Quran 3 times at fajr and maghrib everyday and evil eye cannot harm you. It is useless to try to force people to get out of their problem whilst allah is testing them, it is as though you are trying your best to remove Allahs test of faith upon someone, sorry to say that but if they don’t protect themselves then it’s up to them and Allah. The max you could do is to advice her and make dia for her nothing more, and Allah knows best. @silver2zilver

Subhan Allah, I think that though we know about jinn, sihr and evil eye, and that we live in times when many people do not have good heart towards each other [I see it too much] , we find that our scholars can be so incredibly against the idea of such things. We live alongside the jinn. We live in not particularly good days - there is a lot of fitnah, people expose their lives to so much fitnah. I don't know. It is incredibly sad. I treated a sister, & due to being unable to continue due to a certain time of month, she then was taken to an imam in London, who treated her as well with ruqyah, and it is something that even now, she is afflicted by [she threw the imam across the floor - a tiny woman! We have to be less disimissive of such things. Fi amanillah

I had a very old being come into my bedroom, dressed in a white robe. I wasnt sleeping but trying to fall asleep. It floated into my space until all i saw was one eye staring at me. Eye ball to eyeball. It wasn't happy, withdrew and disappeared. I couldn't move even a finger in it's presence. When it dissapeared i flew out of bed turned on all the lights in the house. I got the inpression "He's not ready". What do you think. ?

I'm new to Islam, subhan Allah, and I know I must ask for help only from Allah but don't know how yet. I do try to say bismillah before anything I do, but would like to know the rest of the words. I can read arabic, so it's there any place I can find these protective phrases in arabic? There are a lot of people around me who practice voodoo religion and some don't like me. I know Allah can wipe it away so easily, but how to ask?? I try to stay in purity alot even taking gas x lol. any links to find these supplications for protection???? Any help is much appreciated.

You can recite the 3 quls which are surah ikhlas, surah falaq and surah nas 3 times each. All you have to do is cup your hands, recite these verses and dry spit in your hands. You do this everyday after fajr and maghrib and you will be protected from every evil inshaAllah. You can also recite Ayatul Kursi at night, Allah will send an angel to protect you throughout the night. And ayatul kursi can be done at anytime too for general protection, if you do it after every salah, nothing will stop you from entering paradise except for death. And Allah knows best may He protect you and keep you steadfast and grant you the highest paradise. Ameen

Fear and Rage are the emotions that trigger the stress response. Allah SWT commands us to fear only Him and to forgive Insaan. So Muslims are not allowed these emotions of fear and anger. Fear has a frequency that attracts Jinn/Satan.

Thank you for this information. What about the subconscious mind, that runs the show and is responsible for 90% of the results we get in life. It is churning out 90 % of our thoughts, hence emotions and then our behavior. I think the Jinn live in us and decide our thoughts 90% of the time.
