As a 10+ vet soap maker who has a lot of different oils in the cupboard, imagine finding out
hair serums, oils and silicone were being used in acrylic pouring🥳
Ive already started to plot out oils to try such as cranbe oil[weird stuff]
Then id like to try linseed oil in floetrol, rumor has it that its linseed oil that the aussie floetrol has.
I wonder if any of the polysorbate 20/80 emulsifiers have any use🤔
Yes i am new to the pouring world, its been brushes or spray paint, thats all
id known. This pouring thang.......is addictive. [then again, so is spray painting😏]
Either way, i see many experiments in future!

Wow! Just before you started adding the oil it looked really gorgeous, almost like one of those clear glass marbles with the colourful swirl in the centre. So cool looking!
Experimenting to see what effects you get is a ton of fun and you never know what you will discover. For example you now know that layering your colours as you did will create a giant marble on your canvas. 😂 It would be cool to see how that stretches out - J Mo Painting gets some really cool effects with layering and the translucency of the paints that can be really pretty. It's usually how he starts his chameleon cell pours.

There's a cell in there that looks exactly like a fried egg with a pink yolk! I've never seen a cell like that. LOVE. The stretched RainX cells turned out interesting. I've done a few experiments with RainX in the spray bottle. Just did a standard pour then held the bottle a couple of feet above the canvas (and off to one side since it's a spray), sprayed once and let the mist fall to the canvas. Gives a cool effect.

Would you have considered putting a drop of silicone on those difficult to cover edges? I think I will have to try that. It might be a good idea for me to try in fluorescent paints for my grandsons. Or in neon. It should really look amazing under black lights! Thanks for the idea!!

I just cant get cells. As soon as it starts drying my cells just break app. I've used both mediums. Get more with flowtrol but still breaks up. Can't use the expensive. I do ha e liquitex and artist loft. Have quite a bit of crafts art and I hate it. Also my colors just sink under pillow coat and it looks like my pints are even but I guess not. I just don't know. Can't afford to mess up much. Have also tried different silicone oils and even coconut oils still Can't get cells
