      I recommend a Blackout roller or cellular shade outside mount. Basically mounted on the wall above and overlapping the sides

    Where are those brackets from? The ones I got from Levolor are L shaped, and are too small, you can't get the rail to click on because the roll is way too big. If you just try to snap the brackets on the rail, the non-clip side of the L digs into the shade! Yours don't have the other side. The bracket would clear a 1 7/8" diameter roll, but our rolls are 2 1/4" diameter. Negative clearance is not good!

      Sometimes that's the problem with big manufacturers they may sent you the wrong part. I suggest calling into the customer support and letting them know you need inside mount brackets for the product you ordered.

      @Bestcustomscreens  Před 10 měsíci

      There is a clip on back of bracket. Push it in and unclick it from bracket. It's reverse process.

    Yeah, now try installing it with a valence. Also, hex screws DO NOT come with the install parts. They give you these terrible phillips head screws. Just throw those away because they’re useless. Also most 1/4 hex head drivers won’t let you screw the screw all the way in so it’s tight. You have to switch bits and finish with a Phillips head bit.

    • @Bestcustomscreens
      @Bestcustomscreens  Před rokem

      Thanks for reminding us. We do need to do a video with a valance and or fascia. Yes the hex screws they give are insufficient and I use my how 1 1/2" hex screws. Yes sometimes you do need to tighten with Phillips screw driver. Fortunately this time I didn't. Thanks for watching and the input.

      Boo-hoo. Pre-drill the hole and install it with a screwdriver.
