DFC Singapore's Happiness by Design Program partnered with DesignSingapore Council - Empathy Stage

In the heartwarming journey of DFC Singapore's Happiness by Design 2023, children aged 9-12, parents, and teachers came together to explore and resolve what 'happiness' truly means in their lives. The programme was part of DFC's Empactathon®, a unique intergenerational co-design program where children co-design with adults. This Empactathon series was executed in partnership with the DesignSingapore Council under the Learning by Design initiative, that brought together around 50 participants from Yumin Primary, Bedok Green Primary, and Lakeside Primary.
Together, they tackled pressing issues like 'too much homework', 'distracted students', and the dynamics of teacher-student relationships. Their collective creativity and insights led to meaningful solutions, making a lasting impact on their communities. 🌟
