  • Gyrolab xPand is a must-have technology for accelerating biopharmaceutical development and bioprocess workflows. Gyrolab xPand combines the benefits of microfluidic miniaturization with automation for immunoassays that are 4x faster than ELISA, require 10x less sample volume, and demonstrate robust reproducibility, matrix tolerance, and dynamic range.
Powerful software allows offline method design and setup, with automatic run-time data collection and analysis. Gyrolab software was designed with 21 CFR Part 11 in mind for regulated environments. Specialized modules for affinity, immunogenicity, data point QC, and LIMS integration are available to meet the needs of today’s development teams.
To set up a run, samples and standards are prepared in a v-bottom microwell plate that is placed onto the deck of the Gyrolab xPand, along with up to 5 CDs. One assay can be run on all samples or different assays can be run on each CD.
During the run, the immunoassay is fully automated including data collection, so the scientist’s time is freed up to take a break or for data analysis. The Gyrolab xPand runs CDs - 5 CDs or 560 data points - consecutively for 5 hours of fully automated assays, during the day or overnight, freeing up the operator to attend to other important activities.
Data from the Gyrolab immunoassay is available immediately once the run is complete for viewing and analysis. The unique Gyrolab Viewer module converts on-column fluorescence signals into binding profiles, revealing the interaction of each data point. Data analysis can also be performed offline, optimizing laboratory time for improved efficiency.
Gyrolab is an open platform with flexibility for virtually any ligand-binding assay, and an increasing portfolio of optimized, ready-to-use kits for bioanalysis and bioprocess applications.
We are ready to help you accelerate your productivity for bioanalysis and bioprocess applications.
