’ll never forget when I was playing as Ithaka besieging a city in the mid game, my army of light armored skirmishes and warriors were not really made for prolonged slodgeds an the enemy had reacted faster than I had expected to my diversionary assaults on the the southeastern gate most of my troops were wavering or routing, I had managed a breakthrough and some of my veteran troops were about to take the city square, but we needed time, the enemy focused on hunting down my fleeing troops, I had been so busy microing the eastern gate I had not realized most of the army had been fully routed in the north, the enemy units were trying to chase my troops out of the city gates and then among the hordes of fleeing men I see my recently recruited Minotaur emerge like in a goddam movie, before charging and holding off the entire enemy flak by himself as they funneled into the city gate. By the time Odysseus’s and a few reinforced had arrive to aid the absolute madlad had decimated two unit of spearmen and was still holding.
The Minotaur bought enough time for the fleeing troops in the north to rally and with them they held the last few moments until the square was captured. And by the end of the battle with a sliver of HP left and caked in blood the mother fucking Minotaur was still standing. And this was playing on truth behind the myth man, What an absolute legend

Electric guitars(?) is something I never expected to hear in Total War, and not something I knew I needed... But I absolutely love it, it's amazing!

Richard Beddow making another "eastern sounding" battle theme and just be like... "You know what this needs? Guitar riffs."

As much as I liked Jeff Van Dyk's THUNKA THUNKA soundtracks I gotta say I really dig this soundtrack as well as Attila's. My only problem is that themes aren't as "defined" as, say, the ones in Rome 1 TW, where you can really tell them apart. In this case they all sort of blend together, same with Attila's.
