The Hallelujah Chorus of Handel’s Messiah is one of the most well-known and well-loved musical celebrations of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection. This joint effort between the Tabernacle Choir and singers from around the world portrays the joy of that good news.

Im a Mormon but grew up in the bible belt of the south and one the great things about being a Christian.. While we may worship in different ways and may believe the doctrines of the gospel a little bit differently... We are ALL Christians... We all worship the same God! He is our father and we are all brothers and sisters and we will all be together as a family in the next life.

I wish I would have been aware of the virtual Hallelujah chorus. It is in my opinion, the greatest song ever written. I am orthodox christian from Greece, and was very happy and really moved for this sharing! wish for a larger virtual pray from everywhere in the world, where chased christians from Kenya, Nepal, China, Syria, Aethiopia, Libya will be able to add their voices and spirits...may all the spirits be candles enlighted of His Light, may all the hearts open way for Him to pass...may all christians from all over the world pray together and send the message of hope everywhere...

I sang this in high shool and one of my most precious memories was when our choral director invited anyone from the audience to join us on stage to sing. My grandfather, Hayo, came up and stood beside me to sing. Listening to him sing this beautiful music with me will be a treasured memory forever and ever!

I was overwhelmed by the sound of God's children singing praises to our Savior with such passion that I felt myself slip to a place that I knew existed but have never felt the intensity of the Spirit that dwells there. You can not watch this video without having a profound witness of the divinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to put this video on loop mode to play it again and again to continue feeling this heightened awareness of the Holy Ghost, of I could internalize a loop mode playing over and over again the celestial feelings of joy, peace, and love to guide me through life's journey. I think I will also learn the words to Messiah so I'll be prepared to sing with the multitude of angels when at last we meet. I LOVE OUR SAVIOR. I KNOW HE LIVES. HE WILL REIGN FOREVER AND EVER. WE CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER. AMEN.

Soooo many of us have vastly different pictures of our heavenly father... but what I think of, what I see in my heart of him, when I listen to this? Tells me how truly loving, how beautiful, how wonderful, how awesome to infinity he is. And yet, still, every day he's calling me to come back to him . Grow and come up a little higher to be the best me he knows I am (I just don't see it yet). He wants a relationship, not a religion with me, but a relationship with little ol' me. Little broken, imperfect me.... Wow. King of kings. Lord of lords. He shall reign forever. He is everything. All praise to the Lord God Almighty. Creator of heaven and earth. And btw, in my heart , I'm guessing this is what it's going to look and sound like in heaven. a variety of people , yet all coming together as one , the body of Christ.
In the Royal Albert Hall in London our coire also took part singing the Halleluja from scratch, with 8000 other singers from all over tje world. It gave me wings and it was something never to forget. It felt like a natural hight It was lead by sir Jeffrey Wilcox. In one word is was awesome!!!!

When the King of England heard the Hallelujah Chorus for the first time, he jumped to his feet because it was so beautiful. After that, it was customary to stand up when it was performed. I think it is the most beautiful piece of music ever written.

I wish all of humanity could sing together in this sort of fashion. I love Handel he is a genius. I was raised in a Catholic Convent as a child and sharpened my moral compass there. Im not a person of institutional religion anymore, too much judgement, but the essence of compassion for all still resides deeply within me. I love this for those reasons.

My HS Choir performed this and it became legend in our school. I never got emotional then because I was too young to comprehend it. Now, 40 years later I always get choked up when I hear the MTC. The ending is overwhelming.

This was beautiful. Thank you to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra. It was also a pleasure for me to see some of my favorite artists in this video (Peter Hollens, Alex Boye, Donny Osmond...). Such an amazing collaboration. Music has incredible power to affect our lives, to touch our hearts, and to share God's Holy Spirit, and this beautiful song does all of this.
"And he shall reign forever and ever." Life is hard. I have experienced trials in my own life, and I'm only in high school. I know there are many people who have suffered so much, and I know that in my own life I still have many struggles that I will have to deal with. But I have hope in this truth, that one day my Savior, Lord, and King will rule in all righteousness and peace. I also know that whatever mistakes I might make, He has felt all my pain and can help me and through His grace, I can be forgiven. He is the reason for Easter. He is the reason for hope and the source of all light in the world. I know we are all children of our Father in Heaven and I pray that we can all have a little more patience and tolerance and that we can follow Christ's example and bring a little more peace to our world. Hallelujah!

Handel Messiah is the best and most awesome gospel music ever. Handel came from Germany in early 1700s,then he migrate to England and came up with the messiah hallelujah. It is beautiful and powerful music that I ever heard before.
