The problem with pass and move is that it's a horror to use if your directional stick type is fixed
That's not true. Many of my friends use pass and move very effectively with the fixed directional stick

The best way to utilize 1-2 passes is to initially slow down your opponent's pace and then suddenly increase the tempo of your passing by executing quick 1-2 combinations. 👍

I have lost too much games because of how small the buttons are and being unable to tap on the right button.
Some of us play the game with phones having long or big screens.
If you're facing problems with Classic control, then try using touch and flick. You won't have button problems with touch and flick controls
