I totally made the beginner mistake and my pouch ended up extending outwards but it ended up really cute! If I start tightening better and remember the steps better, I bet I'll make cute pouches like yours~ Learning and making mistakes while practicing with your videos is so encouraging and I feel such pride in the end. Can't wait to try out more of your patterns! Update: I made a second pouch the next day! The sides were straight, the size came out perfect (my first was a bit big) and the stitching was better! My first and second pouches were soo different!!! Canât wait to make even more đ«¶đ«¶

With your guidance i was able to make this for my mother to hold her essentials in and she loves it! I feel so accomplismed and thankful thank you so much

A good drawstring is when two opposing sides can be pulled to close. (Not just 1 side). Make 2 strings. Weave 1 through as usual. Then on opposite side, hold a piece of string out of weaving, then start to weave other string, using same holes as 1st woven string, all the way around to beginning and tie off to pinched back piece. It's cute to use wooden beads at the side string knots...your video is very good, btw
Iâm still a beginner but I hadnât heard the tip of pulling the slip stitch super tight so it almost disappears! I get confused if Iâm stitching into the same stitch as the sl or into the next, so this tip should come in handy đ«Ą thank you!!
