3 (English) Die cut punched solutions in paper honeycomb

We specialise in manufacturing punched honeycomb panels. This means that we press down a part of the panel, we punch the panel, in order to attain a particular shape that can be fixing as well as shock-absorbing.
The punching in the panels comes in lots of different shapes of course, depending on what the panels are to protect. We can punch all the way through the panel, only to a certain depth or to different depths in the panel and then leave the release paper in the punched area.
As part of our product development, we develop, design and construct our own punching tools that fit exactly the kind of fixing that your product needs.
We usually develop the solution together with our customer. We might be able to reduce the number of packaging item numbers by producing one packaging that can handle several products; e.g. the same packaging for a series of products. Naturally, we make prototypes as a part of the product development process. The prototypes are made with our CNC machine, and we use this stage to test and select the right solution based on our customer’s requirements.
When the optimal solution has been found, we design and construct the punching tool in our own metal workshop and then continually manufacture the packaging for the customer.
Our punched honeycomb paper panels are the optimal solution if you want a lightweight, yet strong packaging which is also biodegradable and recyclable. Furthermore, the honeycomb solution is compressible by up to 75 % as the packaging can be squeezed together due to the cell structure with the many air-filled spaces. This is an advantage when it comes to disposal.
